Considering the terrible baggage pileups that regularly occur when the

Perhaps over 10 years ago, MSP made an apparent effort to provide
baggage security, placing a railing around the claim area with uniformed
security at the gates who were to check claim checks against luggage
tags.
That lasted a while and then just disappeared.
Maybe the increased traffic volume compared to the space available for
people to queue up simply made the process impossible to maintain.
