Getting from DL to AA at LAX?

Hi

I am flying to Fresno, CA on DL nest week, although one of the flights
is a codeshare on AA. This flight is out of LAX and was just wondering
how easy it is to from DL to AA there.

It's pretty easy. Most DL flights arrive at Terminal 5, and AA
flights leave from Terminal 4 which is adjacent. Unless things
have changed since I was there last you have to go outside and
walk two minutes down the sidewalk, then go through security
in the other terminal.

If you can get to 4 from 5 without going outside of the security area by
all means do so. Thursday morning I was in line 1 1/2 hours to get
through security at terminal 4.
