The entire profile (and to my mind the major thing that should have
caught the Xmas Bomber) is one- way ticket, no luggage, bought the same
day for cash. I doubt that one-way ticket bought ahead of time with a
charge card would cause much trouble. FWIW, if you are traveling within
the US and meet those criteria the only question is whether you will be
grilled by TSA before or after DEA. That is pretty much the profile for
a drug mule, too.

Interesting. The usual obwervation is that one can get a RT
ticket cheaper than a one-way.
