The third annual Transformer Convention has been set. Men in
Black Collectibles have brought BOTCON (tm) to Chicago, Illinois
this Year. SO get ready to roll out and transform on Saturday and
Sunday July 13 and 14, 1996.

     Pre-register attendees will receive an exclusive Transformer
toy. So if you want to own one of the rarest Transformers
available Pre-register today. Pre-registrations will be taken
Until June 1, 1996.

     Planned for the convention: Kenner will be present to talk
about the current line. Kenner will bring along a few unique one
of a kind items for us fans to be in awe over.

     As usual there will be a dealer room to buy all your
Transformer Merchandise. A Video room for screening of your
favorite Transformer episodes. A panel room for discussions and
panels on Transformers. A display room will hold a collection of
Transformers to be admired.

     This Years convention will be held at the Clarion Hotel in
Rosemont, Illinois. Conveniently located near O'Hare Airport, The
Clarion has Shuttles from the airport every 15 minutes.
Negotiated with the hotel the rate per room will be the same as
last year $67.00 a night. So this year you get a great rate and
the big city of Chicago to go out and have fun in.
     The Clarion Hotel is located off of I-90 on the Mannheim
Road North exit. Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-221-
2222. There is a local number 1-708-297-1234, but due to
Ameritech changing area codes in the area that number may change
completely, so I suggest the 800 number. Clarion may also be
reached by writing to Clarion Resort, 6810 N. Mannheim Road,
Rosemont, IL 60018. Make sure to mention you are registering for
Botcon.

     Dealers can set up Friday afternoon after 6:00pm to 9:00pm,
and some attendees will attend the Friday set-up to get the first
chance on good toys. This first chance pass is available only
through Preregistration. The First Chance pass will allow guests
in Friday between 8:00pm and 9:00pm Friday and at 8:30am on
Saturday.

     The Preregistration costs for Botcon this year are $35 for
both days. This includes entrance fee, Botcon T-shirt and an
exclusive toy. The Friday First chance pass is $25 and is only
good for passage on Friday you must be registered for the
convention for Saturday entrance. No exclusive will be given for
a Friday Pass.

     Non-registrants costs will be $7 one day pass, and $12 two
day pass. No walk-ins are available for the Friday First chance
Pass.

     Dealer Costs will be $90 a table that includes entrance for
two people and an exclusive toy one per table. An additional
Dealer exclusive may become available at a later date for
additional costs.

     Dealer applications will be taken until June 1. If you want
to be a dealer and have not registered before June 1, Table cost
will be $105
