recall it & make the silver bus mold.

  Their is no mold for paint. the mold is the metal casting, it has nothing to do with the paint.  It is very simple why mattel shange the color. The previous bus was yellow. As you can plainly see in #4 Mixed signal series. These two bus are so similar that it is easy to confuse it for the other.  The first time I saw the new bus I thought I had gotten Mixed signal bus. It was bad business. By changing the color, the buses could be distinguished easily.

Sure wasnt me, I was concurring with Phamser that it is painted
silver,or to some grey,annd to others silver-grey, but in any case not a
zamac,(at least not mine) and if Mattel READS this who knows maybe it
will be zamac next week,because after all, we all need another paint
scheme or should I say another unpainted paint scheme. Yea right. All
these little varations on paint and tampos is beginning to resemble some
Nascar stuff, same car,different paint, not that I dont care for Nascar
because I do.I adore it. And the paint schemes well for the most part
they are awesome. Just my 3 cents, actually 2 cents worth, but I wanted

I know something on this one. The paint on the Street Art Bus is yellow
with an orange tint. My sources explain that adding the orange to the
yellow caused the paint to flake easily. Kids were eatng these flakes,
which contained led zeppelin. : )

Funny thing below here, now if were to use a example,such as.... well
yellow cheese,and you set it on your kitchen counter for,lets say 2
weeks, it will turn moldy, and turn to a off color grey, possibly
misconstrued as silver, There is a rumor that as the yellow cheese
progresses to its fateful off grey color, that for a moment in time it
will transform to a bus, while Ive never seen this incredable
transformation take place, I wont hold my breath either, come to think

I have seen this process take place. It was a truly remarkable
experience to behold. It was almost like the cheese wanted to become a
bus. You could see the determination in the mold itself. One minute
moldy grayish cheese. The next -poof- #bam# *bang* it was a bus. But
sadly it was not meant to be. The mold was not able to hold its
molecular cohesion for more than a few minutes and it vaporized in a
puff of gray with a slight whining sound in the air. It was amazing
and troubling all at the same time.

Ok, here is whole (fat) truth as opposed to the non (fat) truth on why
this bus seems to get everybodies goat (milk). As told to me by a
Mattel Rep in person, did I say Mattel, I ment Nuttel. Any way here
goes : stage 1 Dairy Delivery arrives at pegs (you know Got Milk)
here it sits now on pegs, the process of warming the peg takes place,
yes its a natural occurance, at one with the world. Now the chase
begins, as got milk warms, it curdels, turns to yellow (bus) and
depending on room temp and how much heat is being displayed at the pegs
as scalper and collector collide, it then turns moldy grey, problem is
once you see yellow bus, turn around scold the scalper, turn back
around, see yellow bus gone, now a grey bus appears, turn back around
scold scalper for taking your yellow bus, when in realty he didnt, but
scalper wont say he didnt thus adding to the objective of rarity, well I
