First I want to publicly thank Tracer aka Peter for selling me the GI
Jane for cost... you are one magnificent bastard! =^)
The figure is just a wonder, super posable with an unholy amount of
articulation . I find my self... uh playing with it on my desk, rather
then displaying it as a pop culture artifact =^) It's puts the bodies
they use in the Star Wars 12' to shame. (Note to Kenner: make a 12"
Endor Leia with this body! NOW!) My only complaint is that she is
"going commando"... they should give her a t-shirt or something under
that jumpsuit.
Since this is my first Joe, I got to wondering, are they all this
great? If so, I just might pick up a few to join her. So could Joe
fans be kind enough to please give me some info about what are the best
Joes out there. What are there any differences within the series, I
think I remember some people complaining about some of the lines. Which
figures are the creme de la creme of GI Joe?
Also someone a few weeks ago had a link to a page that sold custom made
"Aliens" style weapons and gear. It was in response to the crappy KB
Alien vs Hicks set. I thought about getting in touch with them, but
then thought "why bother, I don't want to go out buy and Joes..." I've
changed my tune... please help!

Thanks in advance
Brooke

I'm sorry that I can't remember the link to that cool Space Marine
accessory site. They were really cool, but they were also preety
expensive. The set includes a bunch of armor pads and weapons and a few
other accessories. But you provide everything else(figure, uniform).

Check dejanews using "hicks aliens". That might work.

BTW: The 12" helicopter pilot was also my first GI Joe 12" purchase.
Very nice. I haven't opened her because she is the African-America
version. I want to find a white one and customize her into the drop ship
pilot from Aliens.

Unless you're really into the military aspect of Joe, you will love the 12"
Action Man figures. I recently received the Action Man Snowboarder from
Meehan Toys and it is fantastic. They've got tons of pics at their website
at http://acweb.com/ben/meehantoys/
The other Joe that I really like is the Tuskegee Bomber Pilot. Very cool
leather jacket, great hat and fantastic articulation.
Have fun!

Roxi, you can get sunglasses and eyeglasses for Jane at Cotswold. They also
carry pipes, shovels, hats, medals, cans of beer and pop and, of course for
your neck of the woods, Jane-sized mosquito repellent, plus lots of other
accessories.
They're on the web at http://www.whidbey.net/~cotswold
