figs are cool. Very un-McFarlane in appearance but not in sculpt. If your a
fan of the game you'll definately like these.
Should be out in February. Just in time for my birthday.

I LOVE this game.. been playing it nonstop since last Wednesday...it's got it

Actually I kinda thought of Mully and Sculder when I saw the figures, I thought
they looked a lot like the X-files figures, except I hope they have much better
articulation this time (I think it should be that way). The acessories sound
pretty darn cool, though I dunno what they would go on you dont get to see them
that much in the game.

LOL not for you B'Day but for the release of MGS in Europe! I was expecting March
but it seems the date has been moved back (that never happens!) to Feb recently!

I'd MUCH have prefferred Donkey Kong Country, Darkstalkers, Castlvania, ect
figures... some games that have been around for a while, but haven't had
much merchandiseing...
And PONG toys would just be a HOOT!! ;))

It'll have huge legs, considering every single video game magazine published
heralds Metal Gear Solid as the best game ever made.

Well, the Metal Gear franchise has been around longer than all those others(may
be close with Castlevania). Donkey Kong maybe, but not Donkey Kong Country.

It had a good Japanese sequel and then a below-average American sequel. I
haven't played either of the first two Metal Gears, but I got Metal Gear Solid,
and it's gotta be one of my favorite Playstation games now. It's perfect if you
like espionage-like stuff, and so forth. The character interaction, and stuff
is alot of fun too, and the plot twists are zany! On a sidenote, I saw a
picture of Solid Snake in the new Previews today (along with Marv, who looks
GREAT) and he looks okay, hopefully the finished product'll look cooler, but I
know that I'll end up buying all eight of these figures (especially Psycho
Mantis, and Revolver Ocelot). The characters are just so cool.

There were two other games, I know one was for the NES, but I cant remember
what the other one was on. Okay its not a huge legacy, but its the same number
of games as say DARKSTALKERS!
Anyway I want Abe's Exxodux/Oddeysse figures, or just plain Oddworld figures.
I noticed that on the Oddworld site (guess what the addy is), they have them
listed in the "What I would like" in their survey. Hmm maybe one day they will
finally make these figures. I would so love a little Abe sitting on the shelf
(with Farting action :)
