OOOOOH. Saw these today, but didn't buy any yet. Why? No
Dierdre. I will NEVER start a line if I can't have my favourite figure
in the bunch.

These look really nice, and they'll break a pre-Spawn: the
Dark Ages toy slump nicely. I'll fill out the rest of the collection
with a post-Spawn: the dark ages toy slump purchae spree.

I noticed a REALLY nice dragon on the back. When can I expect
to see that beauty? It looked great, and it looked like something I
will be gathering multiples of for my Spawn toys and for my Tir Na Nog
toys (when I get a Dierdre, that is)...

I'm loving this line.

Also, I saw a $17.99 Typhoid Mary in a comic store. Nah, I didn't buy
it, anyway. But she's GREAT and I can't wait to have one at normal
retail. And the kicker is, the guy that was working there was the
scalper from under whose nose I snagged a LODK Man Bat. And he was
still giving me a dirty look. Boy and I just laughed and laughed.

No rest for the wicked,

I've gotten hooked on this line and have only one figure to go
(Angus). I've seen all of them at Wal Mart but have limited myself to
buying one at a time. I was sure to get Dierdre first, as I suspected
she'd be the hard one to get. Next came Ivar, then Rohan, then the Ice
Lord. I have no doubt Angus will be coming home with me after my next
trip to WM.

And they are even better out of the package! The articulation is
great, despite some reports of Dierdre's arms / hands / whatever
snapping off. All of my figures have good, snug, and poseable joints
and stand up really well. My only problem has been with the cardboard
standups. They don't, well, stand up. I solved this problem by
sticking the back portion of the display to the back of the shelf with
a little Scotch tape.

I dunno when it's coming out, but I can hear Roxi drooling already :)
Everything I've seen about this line looks great, and I think it's
going to help Bandai shrug off the Power Rangers stigma.

I still haven't seen a Mary around here, but I really want to get her
and Ultron. And is Man Bat hard to find? I don't collect LODK (but
might get Batgirl), but I've seen a *lot* of Man-Bats (Men-Bat?)
recently at retail.

I'm amazed at how well this line is doing. I can find X-files, Kiss,
WC Joker, RH Vader and so one buy the caseload. But MKoTNN
are next to impossible to get if you aren't there when they get put
out.

I must say that I'm really impressed by this line. I hadn't planned on
getting it, but when I found Dierdre, I knew I had to get this line. I
got Dierdre home and was suitably impressed by the sculpting. On the
down side, her left arm is barely attached at the mid-bicep joint and is
easily removed (Cool! a dismemberment feature!), and after hearing the
horror stories, I'm afraid to try to move her wrists. But I will be
getting the rest of this line, they're just too cool.

It was a good toy weekend though. I also finally found Silver Sable.
