World Championship Volleyball Matches

is there anybody out there fortunate enough to have the Matches for the Womens Volleyball World
Championship on TV and the means to have them digitally recorded? Since the German TV-Stations
ceased to broadcast any matches in the final round we in Germany are kinda left alone :-)
So it would be cool to have someone record it and have it transmitted via some file-sharing program.
I know it's not really legal, but there is no other way for me to get my hands onto it...

I believe the Italian channel Rai Sports Satellite will be showing the final
live. They showed the Italy - China semifinal yesterday (but not USA -
Russia unfortunately) and the 3rd/4th play-off today.
This is a free to air digital channel on Hotbird at 13.0 degrees East so
just about any digital receiver with a dish pointing in the right direction
should be able to receive it.

I sent an email to the Canadian Broadcasting Corp.
and they said to look at their October schedule
for the Women's World Championships. Of course,
the problem is unless you live in Canada or have
a satellite TV to point to the CBC you won't be
able to watch it (in the Americas). Maybe somebody
else knows about another European TV station that
will re-broadcast the World Championship games?
I'm hoping to tape it, if I can get the CBC in
October...no promises yet!

it was posted in the FIVB site that they had the Canadian broadcasting
rights for the World Championships. Nothing in September, so I'm
almost sure it will be shown in October. It really surprises me that
no US broadcast is planned anytime soon.
My VCR will be humming for sure on those broadcast dates.
A cousin in Thailand taped the matches for me and is supposed to mail
the tape soon. It will be interesting watching it with the Thai
commentary. :o)

Searching the CBC web site, these are the dates for volleyball I found
coming up soonish.
Saturday, Oct. 12 13:30-15:00 Volleyball
Monday, Oct. 14 00:00-01:30 Sports Late Night (Late Sunday night)
Saturday, Oct. 19 13:30-15:00 Volleyball
Monday, Oct. 21 00:00-01:30 Sports Late Night (Late Sunday night)
The times are, of course Eastern. I suspect the Sunday night (Monday
morning) shows are re-broadcasts of the Sat. shows. There is no word of
which matches these will be. I could only search 4 weeks ahead, so that's
all that is listed currently (maybe next week at http://cbc.ca/onair/).
Unfortunately, CBC only shows complete listings for the current month, so
when Oct comes around, these listings will be up to date and should list all
the volleyball being shown: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/schedule/.
At least we're getting some of the matches.
