Participant spot needed for Chicago's Mrs. T

Hey folks,

I am new to this group. Some really helpful threads. Thanks all!

I am a triathlon newbie in training for my first event, Chicago's Mrs.
T's, set to take place on August 26. Am hoping to complete the
international distance.

I attempted to register a couple of weeks ago, thinking that since its
still three months out, I'd be assured of getting a spot. I thought
wrong. Just got word that I'm #395 on the wait list. :(

The event coordinator I spoke with did mention that if I can get an
exisiting registrant's permission, I can pay a $25 transfer fee and
use their spot.

So, if anyone on this list is registered for the int'l distance and
has decided they will not be able to participate, I'd very much like
to buy your spot off of you.

Please let me know if you have a spot you don't want.
