Except for ESPN tennis writer Kamakshi Tandon, she's picked Roger and
did before the tournament...

Wilander picked fed...
If Borg did the same...Fed would probably get 4 games, total.
If you are so sure Nadal will win, why did you not have the courage to
accept felangel's offer?
The problem with you is that you read very sloppy...
1. I didn't say Fed wins 4 games now - it was a reference to Wilander
and Borg picking Fed in 2008.
2. I explained why I wouldn't take the offer in that thread.
TT is more generous these days. He gives Federer 10 games.
Roger has his best chance ever to beat Rafa at Roland Garros... will
he?
P
Which country's media?
You certainly are - as always - only referring to U.S. media?
Max
Is German media picking Fed? :)
Since I am a Canadian, not sure what you mean by that?
There's something called "the internet" Max; it allows a person to
review the opinions of commentators and writers from all over the
world...
:)

Just check hops contest. see who i picked. i am on a roll.
The media knows shit. It is up to the players.
Watching the Nadal-Murray and Federer-Djokovic semis, one could get
the impression that Federer and Djokovic were better players than
Nadal and Murray. That would be the wrong impression because Federer
and Djokovic play the same flat, hard hitting game that Federer will
not be able to play against the Nadal spins.
We will get a better idea about who prevails after the first set…
Let's see, aging former #1 and holder of 0 slams, who had one hot
match against an opponent against whom he matches up pretty well,
versus current #1, in prime age, holder of 3 slams, who's pretty much
the GOAT of the surface, against whom he matches up poorly.
Federer might pull off the upset. Given the form shown by Nadal this
FO, it is possible, but still highly unlikely. Nadal is still the
better bet for this match.
Mind you, I would love to see Federer win this one - but I don't think
he will.
You said in another post Fed would get maximally 10 games. So my
question is still valid. You are just coward to adhere to your opinion.
That's the conventional wisdom Javier... we shall see...
P
Which non-U.S. media did you include?
BTW, isn't Canada a part of the U.S.?
At least virtually, I mean?
Max
He is from Canada, isn't he?
Max
Yep. I'd love to see Federer win it, but I'm content with a good match
(i.e. W2007 or W2008 drama leves :)
Really? You 'seem' like a Rafa supporter more than Feds... I didn't
realize that...
P
What I wish for and what I think will actually happen don't mix this
time ;)
