BTW, watch for David Ferrer and his wind tricks ;)
I saw it today too. Agree that most of the casting was great and it
was very entertaining.
Some linguistic anachronisms though. Were the budding X-Men"hep cats"
or hippies? "Groovy" was not in fashion in 1962. Nor was "Daddy-O." :)

Hehe, I thought the same thing ;)
Thanks for the thumbs up.
...You never know about these new movies, IMDB rating of 8.3 MIGHT have
nothing to do with reality...it could be just special effects with an
awful story...
I believe Dark Knight is still one of the highest rated films there and
I thought it sucked big time...
Anyway, I've always liked X-men movies, nice entertainment.
The story's pretty cool, there are some disposable characters, January
Jones could have been replaced with a cardboard cutout and you
wouldn't notice, but it's good. McAvoy and Fassbender really sell
Xavier and Magneto.

TDK is a good movie. It's problem is that it ends... and then it
inexplicably keeps going on for about 45 minutes. WTF? (kind of like
"Snake Eyes"... a pretty decent thriller... then suddendly Gary Sinise
kills himself. WTF? And the movie doesn't end. WTF x 2?)

Same here, though X3 and Origins felt disappointing after X and X2.
