And how do you know the winner will play Monday and Tuesday?
Where do you see this schedule?

I am checking the QF schedule.

They will resume their match tomorrow.
I think the QF will be on Wednesday, I didn't find it yet, but I remember hearing Federer may have two days off before the QF.
Can some one confirm?

Federer dropped the second set on two stupid shots.

They are pros, it's not the end of the world.

Actually the Winner will play Wawrinka on Tuesday, clearly unfair.

Federer's run of good luck ended. He'll have to play Monfils on Monday, which gives the athletic Frenchman another day to recover from his five-set win over Pablo Cuevas. Then, should he get by Monfils (an iffy proposition at this point), Federer would have to play his quarterfinal against Wawrinka the very next day, on 24 hours rest compared to the 48 hours of rest for his countryman. NBC's Ted Robinson suggested that the quarterfinal, whether it involve Monfils or Federer, should be moved to Wednesday, but given the stubbornness French Tennis Federation, who knows whether logic will win the day.

Chris Chase, the author of that piece HATES Federer and makes no bones about it.
I would take anything he says with a grain of salt.

Don't worry so much. He was never the favorite to win the FO regardless of conditions/circumstances. Djokovic and Nadal will both have to drop dead for him to win it IMO because I can't see him beating either one of those two.

He has a chance if he reaches the final.

Against Djokovic or Nadal? I don't think so. Maybe against Murray. In any case, let him reach the final first. Still a ways to go. He has to get through Monfils, Wawrinka and probably Nishikori.

On a side note:

Is Monfils Fed's RG good luck charm? Every time the pair has played here Federer has gone on to reach the final.

Should Fed get by Monfils, he should get past Stan but I don't see
him go past Nishi.
If Monfils wins, I think it will be a Nishi-Waw SF. Hard to pick a
winner in that.
If Rafa & Murray soften up Djoker, Nishi/Waw could upset Djoker. Esp
Waw who seems to enjoy playing Djoker.

Really? Chris Chase still writes articles? I thought he knew nothing about tennis till reading some of his stuff about (US) football. It seems he is uninformed in many sports.

I don't know if he hates Federer or is just extremely ignorant. But I don't like to limit my options, it could be both.

No such thing as 'unfair' in clown era - already got it too easy.
