And what is supposed to be airbrushed there?
Max
It's actually a pretty decent PS job. It's not like they left her
looking like a plastic doll with absolutely smooth skin.
Without being deliberately unkind, I would say that Kim has the face
of a pig
when she smiles. Not an ugly pig and not a pig as an insult....but
literally,
like a pig.
it looks like she's made of porcelin China it must've taken hours to
photoshop/airbrush it.
No offense, but you have really bad taste. Kim while not ugly, is
certainly not attractive in any sense of the word. Bad skin, too
heavy, etc. She is no Michelle Pfeiffer that is for sure. :)
She seems very nice however and I like to watch her play.
You like Michelle Pfeiffer too ? So do I. One of my favs.
No offense? Lol. What a cheeky bitch! :)
No offense, but there is no such thing as bad taste....only taste.
The problem with Kim for me is that besides her being "homely", Her
tennis sucks as well and her "being nice" personality is as phony as it
gets. Otherwise she's ok, although she's not very smart I admit. Oh and
she's in it for the money, as her father told us when she quit the first
time.
But other than that she's mighty great.
How surprising. Who wouldn't...
She is smarter than you. She found the stairs out of the basement.
>Oh andshe's in it for the money
This is brand new information. Burn her at the stake in the morning!
There certainly IS such thing as bad taste, you know it when you really
really like watching splatter films, Seagal etc...you know, "quilty
pleasures"
Good taste is enjoying Van Damme.
That about sums her up. Still can't understand she has fans?
Kim is no Steffi of course.
But a very attractive woman nevertheless.
Max
It's odd that her fans still defend her even though she boycotted
Henin's wedding.
No taste is subjective and to me saying Kim Clijsters is good looking
is bad taste.
There are some people who are considererd empirically attractive and
even if one is not attracted to that person one would concede that the
person is considered attractive by many. For example Brad Pitt does
nothing for me but obviously most people consider him attractive.
Re her acting it is ok, depends on the role. She is beautiful though.
She was good in The Fabulous Baker Boys.
I don't find Kim phony. Who cares if she is in it for the money. Also,
her tennis does not suck IMO.
>No taste is subjective and to me saying Kim Clijsters is good looking
is bad taste.<
Exactly, but that doesn't mean he has bad taste....which is what you
asserted. That means that in 'your opinion' he has bad taste....so what you
should have said is that "your taste is different to mine!"....he doesn't
have bad taste, only a taste that you don't share. Leading with "no offence,
but" is usually a good indication that you are trying to cause offence.
Is there anybody you find more attractive than Steffi?
I don't think that Kim Clijsters is considered standardly attractive.
Some people may find her attractive but she does not by any means
represent the standard of what would be considered attractive. Not
even close.
So yes it is my opinion that a person who considers her attractive has
bad taste AND it is also true that she would not be a name most would
consider attractive, let's face it.
Yowsa, there is a standard? Outline this for us will you. We can call it
"Attractiveness Defined...by Court 1"....shoot:
That's her best film imo. Another one I've rated 9 at imdb is White
Oleander, although could be overrating since I don't remember the film
much any more.
Avoid:
I Could Never Be Your Woman (2007)....ruuuubbish
One Fine Day (1996)
In everything else she's good and she doesn't have poor films except two
above...from 19 titles I've rated...
I gave examples didn't I? I said Brad Pitt would be considered
attractive by most even if I did not think so.
There are certain people who are considered attractive by society's
standards are there not? If not what is modelling all about? Can
anybody be a model or are there certain standards one has to meet in
order to be a model?
What about an actor, not a character actor but a lead actor?
White Oleander is great. I read the book and have seen the movie a
couple of times. *cries*
I did not see I Could Never Be Your Woman but I did see One Fine Day
when it first came out. Horrible.
She was also good in The Age of Innocence with Daniel Day Lewis (love
him) and in Up Close and Personal with Robert Redford (love him too.)
many of today's models are not particularly attractive, but have a
strange look that advertisers are after.
you like dustin hoffman? how bout bill murray? they your type?
bob
We have so similar tastes...except in matters of tennis and beach. :)
Yes I do like Dustin Hoffman. I think there is something attractive
about him.
Bill Murray is not attractive but he started out as a comedian, that
is different. I said lead actors, not character actors or mostly comic
actors.
I met Bill Murray. He was at the overnight camp I went to shooting the
movie Meatballs. The whole crew was at our camp for 3 months shooting
the movie. I am even in a few scenes--i.e. the race scenes in the
crowd, lol. Bill Murray was super nice at least in those days before
he hit it big in the movies. Not sure what he is like now. He had
really bad skin.
Re the models today, I agree that many may not be so great looking but
there is still a standard. It changes through the years.
i do not think kim is attractive at all. she's not ugly but not my cup of tea
either.
Except for the fact that I love Federer and you despise him. :)
For one he's great actor. Maybe it's the humane touch, maybe it's good
roles...but yeah he is lovable.

That's cool.
Makes you a film star, doesn't it...
I loved The Rainman.
LOL. We know, Serena is your cup of tea. :)
Not quite! :)
that's CRUEL !
Did you ever see her in "Into the Night" with Jeff Goldblum?

if i recall, kim dumped hewitt, and he was pretty upset for a bit.
bob
scarface, hands down.

isn't so great...

did you relate to raymond dave? :-)
bob
yes. he had a brilliant mind.
i kind of pegged "mikko" as raymond.
bob
Upset for a bit? Wasn't he going out with Cartwright 3 seconds later
and knocked her up and married her quickly? There were rumors on
various tennis boards that Hewitt cheated on Clijsters. There must
have been a pretty serious reason that she dumped him so suddenly.
In -88?
Yes I did...why do you ask? To my recollection rather average flick.
That's very good too...she's been in many great films.

Saw it at USO site, don't much like the photo.
It was one of those roles that defines the type she plays - that is,
scatterbrained.
Sort of like Ulysses but pretty?
I can't rightly say since I have never seen Ulysses.
Of course, people can spend months trying to understand three pages of
Joyce's Ulysses. After all, I believe people have declared it a book for
mental masochism.
Agreed, reading her posts certainly is that.
retroactive.

actually it was quite a bit later and after clijsters had another guy,
if i recall. i might recall wrong though.

"rumors on tennis boards." lol.
"dumps" always appear "suddenly."
bob
At least it wasn't rumours on gay forums, this time. How on earth
Ulysses got there remains a mystery. :)
I feel the same way about Whisper's posts since I don't have a degree in
child psychology.
Uly is totally gorgeous IMHO.
Let me ask you a question: Do you think these people are going to
come out in public and admit that they cheated? If Hewitt did cheat
and that was the reason for the break up is he going to come out and
admit it? Rumors on tennis boards for example are just that, rumors,
and should be taken with a grain of salt but it is a possibility. Who
knows. Their break up was sudden and Kim stated later that "she did
the right thing." Now it could be a thousand different reasons and
unless either one of them comes out and talks about it we won't know
but sometimes rumors are around for a reason. Tiger Woods and his
affairs were first put out in some tabloid rag and nobody believed it
but that rag turned out to be the one who broke that story wide open.
I watched a documentary news show on Woods and that was made clear.
Gay forums? Whoever said anything about being on a gay forum. Not me,
that is for sure. You on the other hand? Not entirely out of the
question given your obsession with Nadal. I have never seen a guy so
obsessed with another guy in my life.
herwitt was and remains a pig. of course he was cheating and kim didn't want to
marry a guy with such an immoral character. who can blame her?
i am sure hewitt is cheating on bec too. perhaps she accepts it or she has a few
toy boys of her own. who knows.
Probably Dave. She does not exactly seem like a rocket scientist
(Cartwright I mean.) Kim seams like a brain surgeon compared to
Cartwright.
that kind of thing usually surfaces, but citing tennis board rumor by
someone like John Liang for example holds no weight. :-)

rag sheet rumor has more weight than tennis board rumor as the rag is
likely to be sued if far wrong.
bob
Learn how to read. It was Uly (or Katya?) who submitted "evidence" of
player's penis sizes from a gay message board. No kidding!
Anyway you dingbats are all the same.

Every fedfucker here is equally obsessed, I just post more. And I've
never seen a gal obsessed so much about women's looks as you.
