Hey she is a A-lister. Also voted Sexiest Woman in Asia last year :) Djokovic got standards.

Courty would like to announce to RST (with a heavy heart) that Novak Djokovic of Serbia, world #2, has retired in his quarter-finals match against Thomas Berdych of the CR... Links for donations will be forthcoming and all those seeking safe spaces are asked to make inquiries to Court_1 via email.

:)

Yes, I'm really broken up about "Tiger" Djokovic retiring. :) Strange how this "chronic" injury of his flared up today of all days. He looked fine when he was beating non-grass entities in Eastbourne last 10 days ago! In a way, I'm disappointed because I wanted to see a Federer-Tiger showdown in the SF. I think Federer would have destroyed Tiger this year.

Let's go Federer! Just do it!

No sign of any problems whatsoever until they start clutching various
body parts and act as if they could just collapse right on the court.
I don't want to doubt the injury claims of either Murray or Djoker,
but didn't Djoker just coast to the QF w/o losing a single set? Did
anyone notice anything at all? Ditto about Murray. I am sure that had
Querrey not focussed on his own game and started being nice to a hobbling
Murray, Andy would have pounced on the chances and stolen a victory.
Remember an 'injured' Rafa doing a Gaudio on Stan and stealing a set
in the AO final vs Wawrinka?
We found out about Rafa's 'injury' only after he lost to Soderling at FO.
Until then, he was cruising w/o losing a single set.
So I tend to take these injury claims with a tablespoonful of salt when
there has been no visible sign of the supposedly 'chronic' injury up to
that point.

I did watch highlights of a few Djoker's match, I though he was hitting the ball softly and was controlled the play rather than hitting out, but it was too short for me to think he was carry an injury, I thouhgt he was just easing into the tournament with plenty in the tank for the later rounds.

Before the match a tennis journalist reported on Djok's team huddling with him in the locker room concerned about his physical state. He also had the trainer come out three times in his previous match. So it was known something was going on, but nobody knew how serious it was.
