You don't know tennis rules. It's Rafa's prerogative to stop playing. In
fact he must do so if he disagrees with the call.

Henman reckoned that because the call had been made by Carlos, that Nadal
was correct....that the point should be replayed....technically.

Nadal was wrong all along.
Wrong about the ball (wich is highly understandable, given the tiny
part of it that actually touched the line).
But the worse was to come: once the hawk-eye delivered its judgement,
Nadal should have offer apologies to Berdych (and possibly umpire, had
their chat no gone mad) for his mistake. Just like after some lucky
netchord won point.
That's what Edberg (or Wilander & others) would have done.
Instead Nadal went mad, like he felt a huge injustice.
It was so "spoiled & capricious little boy", that I felt bad for him.

Right, the umpire should never had gave the point to Nadal, that's
right (maybe the "#1 effect").
Right too, Berdych deserved that point.

No, Nadal was not right. He lost - at the latest today! - all his
hypocritical skin he put on himself which had been dazzling his fanfuckers.
1) Umpire had not overruled: Nadal stopped playing, raised his hand to
recall. He was assuming the ball was out. And he would have lost the
challenge, because the ball was in in reality.
2) Umpire overruled (reality): The overruling call came after Nadal had
stopped playing. That means Nadal was not influenced by the overcall. So
there was not need to replay the point regardless what the challenge's
outcome was.
Summary: Nadal lied when he said he was out of balance. The SE award has
turned his head. He should give it back to ATP ...

argue his case as he and any player entitled to do.
He may have been right or wrong. I heard several commentators arguing
it both ways. No big deal.

Yeah, no big deal. You can argue a point, everyone does it. But at last
when he starts lying "I was out of balance" then this is a big deal. Why
not just admit he was wrong and go on? Why that coward?

Everyone does it. But the difference is, Fed didn't need any lie to
