Then he has to play another match today. And one on Saturday too.

Surely the odds of Rafa beating Ramos are like 99%?

Not that high, could have lost the first set...

Wins the match 7-6(1), 6-2. Will face Kyrgios (who beat Karlovic in 3)
in Friday evening match.

Down goes nadal. Hahaha. Real no 1 is federer. Nadal just keeping no 1 seat warm for him for when he wins #20 in 3weeks.

Kyrgios had also to play two matches.

Do you like Nadal's chances at the USO now? Be honest. He'll have to have Larry, Curly and Moe and a bunch of other Stooges in his section of the draw to get to the finish line.

I think he will have similar result to last few years losing a tight match somewhere in 4th round or QF.

That sounds about right for Nadal to me as well. If Federer is injured, and I think he is, he won't make it that far.

Zero chance if he doesn't find his fh.
And I haven't been too impressed with his game all year, apart from RG.

Then again, who knows... the competition seems to be rather poor at the
moment. Fed should win USO easy.

He's 10 years younger.

If Raffi and Fed meet the former will win in three golden sets. Bank on it.

But we're finally seeing some younger players who can take it to the Big Four players and win some bigger events--i.e. Zverev, Kyrgios (if he can win Cinci), etc. Zverev, Kyrgios, Shap, etc. are the future of the sport, not Murray, Djokovic, Fed and Nadal.

Also has a bum hip. Face it, Nadal just isn't elite level on hardcourts anymore.

I doubt they can if Big Four is fit. It's Federer's to lose, no
competition whatsoever atm.

Nadal's fit and just had one of his best tennis years ever. Why can't he beat Kyrgios off clay? Federer who is six years older still can. As for Djokovic and Murray, they are getting old and they are essentially grinders. They won't have an easy time as they age especially with these younger big power hitters like Zverev and Kyrgios. Don't live in the past.

What happened to Nadal who can never lose to Federer according to many Nadal fans? He just blitzed through the clay season like it was butter so don't make excuses for him off clay. He's fit as a fiddle and should be contesting titles off clay.

As for Fed winning his 6th USO, I hope he does! He'll be so far ahead in the GOAT conversation if he does it will be ridiculous. He already is so far ahead but that 6th USO will make it silly to discuss any further.

Let's see them making it past QF first...

Rafa won't make the final playing like this.
