It's funny how fedfuckers
tolerate Federer's arrogance while he's
in fact only 30-50% more successful than his rivals.

Otoh they don't tolerate Trump's arrogance and he's like 1000%
more important there than any other leader there.

May, Macron, Merkel, Trudeau, Erdogan, Stoltenberg, Tusk

In NATO terms they are all equally important.

Obviously the US contributes more to defence because they have a
bigger economy and a bigger military budget.

I see he still doesn't understand how NATO works!

"Donald J. Trump 6 hours ago

Many NATO countries have agreed to step up payments considerably, as
they should. Money is beginning to pour in- NATO will be much stronger."

No NATO member contributes money to NATO for military purposes. The only
money is paid - to NATO - for admin, or building the new HQ. Quite where
he thinks this money is pouring in is a mystery.

Indeed.

Trump also apparently calculates the "debt" the Europeans owe to the US
from the baseline 2% of GDP spending. But that is not a NATO rule, it is
a political target which is supposed to be met in 2024 or 2020.

Also, the US spends 3.7% of its GDP in defense. most of the growth to
that has come from non-NATO operations. So, it's unclear where he thinks
the European money should have been put.

This is patently silly. I would understand it if it was for local
consumption, the Jaros/bob types, but it seems not to be.

It's about (some) Europeans being belligerent and warmongering
while not spending anything on military. Trump Obviosky won't
tolerate it anymore.

E.g. if the paranoid Balts are so scared of Russia why don't they
spend not 2% but 3.7% of their GDP as USA does?
Everyone can spend 3.7%

Instead they're not spending but demand/whine/lie how Russia is a
threat to them so USA sends their troops, weapons there to the
very Russian border, spending US tax payers' money and actually
provoking Russia and destabilizing situation.

Why is that shit happening in the first place?

know you thicko Hillary fans keep lying and misinforming about Trump, but even the NYT(LOL) writes this:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/26/world/europe/nato-trump-spending.html?_r=0
What is Mr. Trump’s complaint?

“NATO members must finally contribute their fair share and meet their financial obligations, for 23 of the 28 member nations are still not paying what they should be paying and what they’re supposed to be paying for their defense,” he said.

Yes and No. NATO has a budget to cover common civilian and military costs, and some NATO-owned assets are also commonly funded when they are used in operations. The United States pays 22 percent of those costs, according to a formula based on national income. None of the NATO allies are in arrears on these contributions.

Mr. Trump is referring imprecisely to a goal NATO has set for each member to spend at least 2 percent of its gross domestic product on its own defense each year. He is correct that only five of the 28 members currently meet that goal, and they are the United States, Greece, Britain, Estonia and Poland.

Of course the orange clown is right when he kicks NATO countries in the ass who spend less than 2 % of GDP on defense while the USA spent 3.7 %!

What the hell is so difficult to understand there for whiny "liberals"?
