“Londoners will see an increased police presence today and over the course of the next few days,” Mr. Khan said. “No reason to be alarmed. One of the things the police, all of us, need to do is make sure we’re as safe as we possibly can be. I’m reassured that we are one of the safest global cities in the world, if not the safest global city in the world, but we always evolve and review ways to make sure that we remain as safe as we possibly can.”

Trump: “At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is ‘no reason to be alarmed!’”

But that's OK, right? Trump won, after all. It's OK if he's a POS. Hillary lost!

Are you dense or what?

What did the mayor mean by "no reason to be alarmed"? That people should not be afraid of the POLICE????

You are dense Max. Imagine the same happens here and local authority try to calm the people down and you get a president of another country criticizing the president of this country because he asks his people not to panic.

So what should the message be? "My great people please be alarmed, you are not safe any more".

What he is doing is indirectly serving his own agenda by causing fear in London and using it to support his travel ban case.

You and Democrat-parent-boy-bmo must be pretty thick, the idoit Khan said the other day that bombings and attacks are part of everyday life in a city these days. Trump is 1000% right to give him a kicking.

I think Trump is mostly reacting to that blatant lie about London
being the safest global city.

If Khan can lie the world, then Trump can criticize him on that.

Trump has no business criticizing other people for lying, being the
biggest liar himself.

But isn't Khan actually right on that?
It has become normal for western europe today. When something is
regular, it's the norm. It's the new normal.

That's why nationalist countries such as Poland or Hungary are
fighting against Merkel-Macron and their fourth reich that's
forcing all of EU to become as "diverse" as western parts.

It looks as soon we'd all wave confederate flags and demand our
state rights and sovereignty back.

You British have done it already.

PS while those eastern European countries were behind iron
curtain, they had limited sovereignty under Soviet rule, so
they're very sensitive about their sovereignty.

Merkel forcing Poland or Hungary that they have to import bunch of
Arabs of whom some will later start blowing up themselves won't
pass there.

Causing fear and using it to support their own agenda - now you are talking about the climate cultists like Obama and Gore, right?

Here is what he actually said. You disagree with those words? I know this is hard to understand for you, but you need to look at the actual words, not some idiot's version of them.

"I’m not going to speculate as to how the police in New York should react. What I do know is part and parcel of living in a great global city is you gotta be prepared for these things, you gotta be vigilant, you gotta support the police doing an incredibly hard job, you gotta support the security services. And I think speculating, when you don’t know the facts, is unwise."

What the mayor said is fine, obviously. What's ridiculous is Trump's response to it. It speaks very poorly for our world that more people can't see that.

yeah I disagree cos he just sounds like he's giving in to them, he accepts it's "part and parcel of living in a great global city" - well it shouldn't be, but he's too chicken to say that ohhh and of course we 'mustn't speculate' oh no that'd be non-PC.

nah Trump made a good response, shock things up a bit too, as he often does. Also his own agenda is for the best of the country, it's a shame some think having an open door to the most dangerous people is a good thing.
