Pure hysteria! Baseless nonsense!

WIPP accepts only the least radioactive waste, rags and plastic bags,
etc. mostly from hospitals where they use radioactive isotopes for
medicine, tracing, etc. Nobody got any measurable amount of radiation
exposure.

The highly radioactive materials remain at Hanford and other sites
where nuclear weapons were developed and constructed. It was
originally to be stored under Yucca Mountain in Nevada, but Harry Reid
killed that.
