The guy is funny. He could be fun to watch when he is aggressive.
Anyone who can do that Sharapova parody commercial has to have a great
fun personality.

No. I like him. The chest thumping is a thin vineer IMO. He's a
regular guy. I think
he'd be great at a party. But I might be totally wrong. He could be
a complete arsehole.
Just my impression of the impressionist.

No, you are definitely not the only one. There is a lot to his game,
and he is the farthest thing from a bland personality.

I am on the middleground with the Djoke. I was getting a bit nauseated with
his celebrations etc at the start of the season. However, he has taken his
new found fame in his stride, and I think we can see that he has matured
into a good world no.1. His interviews have taken on a whole different level
of composure and confidence, and overall I think he now exudes the air of a
champ and is doing much for the popularity of the game.

I have to admit that I always found him a little sleazy or trashy with
his chest thumping and Walmart-like tennis outfits and chia pet
haircuts, but as I have followed him a little more since he has been
on his tremendous run this year, I have found that he does have a very
good personality. He is zany which can be good. That Sharapova
impersonation video was cute.

So, no I do not dislike him at all.

He's the same guy. your letting his recent achievements cloud your
judgement. Fed is going to surprise a lot of people at the US open i
think. its game over once this guy wins another major. confidence does
wonders.

i dont' mind him. the comedy routine is a bit overdone and worn
nowadays though.

You're a victim of image building, nothing spontaneous in that
"Sharapova" clip. In other words, Djoker is not very interesting so he
has to be built up and image enhanced.

But he probably is rather easygoing and funny irl. His problem is maybe
that he tries and wants to to be liked too much.

About Djoker agreeing to do the shara commercial - One of his less
admirable traits is willing and wanting to do anything and everything to
be noticed, he'd probably masturbate in centre court if that would be
accepted or if it would increase his popularity. And ATP probably would
let him.

I have seen many videos of him and he is natural. Last year (or was
that before that) when he played rallies with McEnroe, he was very
funny in my opinion.

There is nothing wrong in that. At least he is not a show-off like
Agassi.

I think that commercial was a bit over the top, but still a bold
attempt.

He is trying to be different and inject some personality. He is trying
to be himself. No harm in that.

Sorry, but I think you have been sniffing too much glue! Can't see it
myself although I secretely wish it would miraculously happen.

So Djokovic doesn't have the exciting personality Sampras does
according to you?

You may not have said Sampras' personality is fabulous but you don't
find it dull either. Djokovic is much more interesting than Sampras
imo.
