Also I hear that he drove off the site immediately after the match was
finished - so has apparently withdrawn from doubles which he should have
played the same evening.
Have a nice weekend and few days off Rafa - you have deserved it! :)
So Queen's semis will be Tsonga vs. Ward and Murray vs. Roddick.
Lol you sound like Sakari
Well I'm not usually a fan of "wasn't arsed"/tanking conspiracy
theories...but U really think that if Rafa ever tanked he would do it
right here right now...3 matches grass practice and still time for some
fishing before Wimby.
Vamos!
I do!
I think I will.
Vamos!
Beep beep
Was there any sarcasm/leg-pulling in wkhedr's statement ? :-)
Rafa was able to loose his edge yeat still win on clay by a hair. He has no such
margin on grass. He is dead meat.
QF: Ryan Harrison
SF: Verdasco
Finals: Benjamin Becker
#11's in the bag, huh?
Or the whole Spanish Armada will be on his side of the draw! Then we
know it is a shoe in!
A Tsonga vs. Murray final would be interesting but Roddick is playing
well and could take it all
Roddick vs. Tsonga would be 90's servefest. Booring...
You are kidding right? Nadal has had to beat Federer 7 times out of
his 10 slams and you think he gets easy draws. Can't believe some of
the stuff I read in RST...
Many fans of these two players are too short-sighted to see it now,
but in the long run, the skills and competitive fire of each will
*enhance* the reputation of the other, rather than diminish it.
Of course, as Keynes is supposed to have said, the problem with the
long run is that in the long run we are all dead.
Agreed Dave. Rafa will be taken out in the 4th round by some big
server and we can be spared the agony of Nadal in SF/F.
LOL, so true. Make up your mind Nadtards. You can't have it both ways!
If Fed is crap and Nadal defeats a crappy Fed, how does that make
Nadal so great?
Huh?

No comment on Nadal's draws, but what the hell does it have to do with
his draw that he plays Fed in the final?
I think what he was saying is if Nadal can defeat Federer 10 times in
10 finals then it doesn't matter who he gets prior to Federer because
if Federer is GOAT then the rest of the draw are nowhere at the level
of Federer then Nadal could defeat the rest with little effort.
Good point. Federer will be remembered as the guy who had the
claycourt GOAT on his FO path every time, while Nadal will be
remembered as the guy who stopped Federer from racking up insane
records.

Yes. Keynes' philosophy, as adopted by political economists and
politicians worldwide, will make sure we are.
'cakewalk pussy, as you invariably does'...???
lmao.
bob
excuse the old broad, she's feeling extra emotional.
bob
Would gladly have quoted Hayek instead -- just couldn't readily recall
any tennis-related zingers from him!
;-)
