If Azarenka wins the title, she's #2, otherwise Kvitova is #2. If the
final is Stosur/Zvonareva, the winner of that would be #4.

1 Wozniacki 7485 (1-2)
2 Kvitova 6560 (3-0) *
3 Sharapova 6510 (0-2)
4 Azarenka 6160 (2-0) *
5 Li 5720 (1-2)
6 Stosur 5585 (2-1) *
7 Zvonareva 5435 (1-2) *
8 Radwanska 5250 (1-2)
9 Bartoli 4710

Can Shrap catch up to Kvitova before the AO? It would be a new experience for
Kvitova to go into a slam seeded to reach the final and probably favourite to
win.

Those were the points after Round Robin. The points now are:

There is basically one week in Australia that affects the AO seedings.
So yes, Kvitova is safe at #2. Don't know if she even has a chance for
#1 before AO.

I am now really hoping for the Kim - Kvitova match at AO too. That
could be great.

Wow. I wasn't expecting such a big jump. I thought Wozniacki was safe as houses
for months.

She won Brisbane this year, so she would have to defend those and get more
points or Wozniacki would have to lose points. Kvitova doesn't strike me as
someone who would feel comfortable at no. 1, so maybe I don't want her to get
there before the AO. She sounds confident here, though:
''I will be No. 2 and next season will be different, and I will be actually
favourite maybe all the time,'' Kvitova, 21, said after earning a $1.63 million
winner's cheque and second spot in the year-end rankings for her 7-5, 4-6, 6-3
defeat of Victoria Azarenka.

Yes, for the final preferably (if Kim can make it that far).

I see that Petra won their last meeting.

I think if Kvitova can be consistent and keep her wits about her(again
big if these days) she will defeat Kim (if Kim in fact makes it that
far.)

I hope Kvitova does not waste the talent she has.

We have been through their matches many times.

But it would be great matchup, because Kvitova is probably the only
player now who can beat Kim even if Kim plays a really good match. But
still, the odds of Kvitova playing really well are much lower.

Why is that? I would say the opposite will be true more than likely.

Are you changing your opinion, lol(just kidding!) Hopefully Kvitova
will not be a headcase.
