I was the first to point out that he is talented and could be a future champion. He hasnt won it yet... but he has destroyed Djoker. So can't be as bad as what Court1 thought.

If memory serves, he's now beaten Nole, Rafa, Andy and Feds... so, having beaten the Fab4-ish could be seen a marker of merit...

He is super talented. He has a huge backswing. Which means he wouldn't be as successful on grass and Fast hardcourts. He should do better at AO and FO

He's got weapons but normally in matches he ball bashes and has no plan B. That's been my problem with him in the past.

Did Thiem win the title yet? He has to beat Nadal and then Murray/Stan. I don't think he'll be able to do that and if he does, I'll be impressed. So far he beat a terrible Djokovic who tanked.
