Tomic's forehand is kinda weird. It's a very abbreviated backswing. He
doesn't so much rotate his bodyweight into the shot as time his wrist into
it. It's a very slappy shot, but the end result can be surprising at times.
It gives him have more time to set up, take the ball early and have more
disguise in the shot. It's really unusual looking, though.

agree. he doesn't hit it that clean. he just has nice timing with that
wristy slap shot.
