however, his game is asthetically awful. he's swinging a snowshoe and
using high-tech strings to generate unplayable topspin (for most
players less than 6'3").
we need a TV channel devoted to college tennis.
noone in his right mind can love this guy for his tennis...
If you can't appreciate the match you just saw - you understand nothing
what following sports is all about.

This was not a silly game with balls and racket - it was a battle of
life and death! A battle of mind over matter. A battle of will over
form. A battle of good vs evil!
Synchronized swimming could be for you.

it was fucking awful.
might as well watch a cockaroach if you enjoy rafa.
now rogers tennis is a beautiful ballet!
exactly. it's already a disgrace he has passed guys like
mcenroe, agassi and others in slams. makles you want to "cringe".
I'll rather follow sports, war and mental battle than ballet. Besides,
Rafa's movement is just wonderful.

Cockroaches do not do battle. They simply survive with wreckless
blind fear and running all over the place.
Sounds sort of like you when Rafa is healthy, no?
ouch :)
and only you know what the hell that means lol
Pathetic post.
I wish RST won't get full of such crap.
For a moment I felt like I was listening / reading to basic sport
journalist: idiotic images, useless emphasis & so on.
I simply love to play tennis.
That's some huge difference between us.
Yet you don't understand it as a sport. Not so different from many
arrogant French then.

Arrogant or not, he's a guy who likes tennis and you, PP/fan/pelle,
wouldn't know a ground stroke from shoveling snow. Sure, Nadal has done
a really good job of using an ultra-light racket strung with strings
that could grip Teflon to strike balls that bounce on the right side of
his body and balls that bounce on the left side of his body and balls
that don't bounce before they're hit; however, what he does is *tennis*
like what highly-paid and popular cartoonists do, is art. Further,
tennis is not *war*. I can see how you'd think that because you're
really quite blithely stupid and have advocated repeatedly that the
extra-regulatory methods Nadal uses to obtain wins are legitimate *tennis*.
They're not.
It's said "all's fair in war" and that's because it is life or death
and, at least in theory, constitutes a moral conflict. Tennis is a
sport. It's practitioners are sportspersons, not warriors. Nobody's out
there to kill anybody else. Playing it like that comes at a cost:
leaving the easily impressed with raw results (you) with the wrong idea
about how the game ought to look and how it ought to be won.
Now, go suck a reindeer dick, memorize the square root of 2 to 100
places, eat some snack food, swig some of that blackout in a can, play
some video games and keep talking about shit you don't know.
LNC
Imagine how bad he will look after he kicks Freddy's ass all over the
court :)
yes lets see...and we hope you wont run away after yec is finished :)))))

Name only 5 "french arrogant" you know.
I mean, you know at least as much as you kno me (and that ain't much).
If only more pleople had the same understanding of what sport is, and
less yours... World would be a better place, no wonder.
Coming from someone who wrote enjoy (watching) tennis & war (battle of
good vs evil & other crap); your claims are just priceless.
You understand neither of the things you claim to enjoy (enjoy war?
how stupid one has to be to claim such thing?), and nor do you
understand them as "down to earth facts".
You surely have fantasies about tennis or war, none having anything to
do with the inner-logic of the situations both are producing.
Get a court, a racquet, possibly a partner (see, not an ennemy) and
try to practice tennis.
Or,
Get a court, because you misfired with your gun, and have to face
trial.
Anyway, get some depth or thinking before posting RST.
here! here! real man tennis!
