Well done to Radek Stepanek for some fantastic play beating Al Magro,
showing the baseliners how to play s/v and for winning the Davis Cup
for the Czech Republic!! Diving volley of the year too!
Didn't see Birdditch play but sounded like he didn't bother trying
against Ferrer, hope Stepanek gets the Champagne! :)

You aren't watching the DC... such an important tennis event, that
measure of greatness? :))

I wouldn't call it measure of greatness. But one thing is certain, this
was the biggest match of Stepanek's career.

It's only the 100th Anniversary, why bother ?

The Czechs are brewing a Special Edition Urquell in Plzen, doubly-gilded
label, extra-sweet. The Spaniards have a vat of Amaretto.

That's what I was wondering...

Now we have Lukas Rosol as a DC champion with Nadal and all the other
greats. And Federer still doesn't have it. History will see Rosol as a
greater player.

Individual legacy vs tribal legacy: apples and oranges. And then you
have Olympics, squeezing the players between three slams - that's
out-of-season, bananas legacy.
