Muzz played an awful match, patchy and inconsistent. Broken loads,
couldn't make a first - serve. Yet still only dropped 7 games.

Exactly. What's the gap between Roger and anyone else? 17 slams
compared to:

Djoker: 5 slams
Nadal: 11 slams
Muzz: Um... a big fat zero. Which ain't changing anytime soon (like
never). So sorry.

Yes it was rather sneaky of ProfX to slip Murray into the 'top' like
that.
If there is such a huge gap between Murray and the rest, just think
how big the gap is between Federer and the rest!

No takers?

Didn't think so.

The only time he never grabs an appendage is when he's playing someone
outside the top 30 and he's up 6-2, 5-2.

Correct. It's also an attempt to take away the opponent's rhythm and momentum. Much like Rafa being bothered by his knees whenever he's in trouble. They're basically always degrading their opponents by suggesting they can't possibly be struggling against them while fully fit... It's gamesmanship.

Murray 1
Nadal 1
Federer 0
Djokovic 0

At the biggest tournament of all.

Can Federer win less than 7 games in the semis this year. I think Muzz
will probably bagel and breadstick him here this year.

I find that if one stops running about the boat so much, it is much easier
to keep an even keel.....ya know what I mean? :)) Only weeks ago you had
written "the Muzz" off as a no slam winner....just pay heed to the more
wisened heads around here: Murray seems to have found the path (or *a*
path)....but the road to glory is still long....and Murray has a sore
leg....and his gps is broken. If he gets his shizzle together, there is
every chance he can make it....but there are no guarantees....even for Muzz
v1.86.

Does Murray ever complete a match without clutching at his leg or his
back as if he
will need an ambulance at any moment?

I think Murray should become a soccer player.  He's got the 'writhing
in agony' thing
down perfectly.

Most do.  But there's no 'expiry date' stamped on his forehead.

Murray's problem is not that he's a notch below Federer, Nadal and
Djokovic..that's a given...the stars
can sometimes align and eliminate these guys...his problem is that he
isn't consistently
better than the other guys in the top10....so he has a good chance of
getting whacked
in any tournament.
