But also THE BEST unseeded player for French Open. Cause he said so
himself. No matter if he will lose on first round at the French, since

Exactly... he's saying their sportsmanship and civility have neutered the excitment of tennis as a sport... some would say the sport is the spectacle and others the personalities add to it... Federer vs. Nadal for 6 or 7 years certainly makes a counter argument to Gulbis' claim... In the global political climate today, I think Federer and Nadal set a wondrous example of exceptionalism and civility actually, a very necessary example!...

Oh is that what he mean, well I have not seeing anything exciting about Gulbis. He had a close match against Nadal who was paying C level tennis. I'm not a Nadal fan and i can see that Nadal wasn't paying well that day.

The ATP as gone way too far in "potilitically correctness".
There is hardly any fun in any interviews nowadays.

There is way much more to win than to loose in allowing players to talk the way they want...

In a way I agree with him. I think the press is to blame for muckraking tactics. I would rather give a bland interview than give my opponent something to get angry and motivated by.

I DO agree that these guys might try a little harder to be real when they are inteviewed. Even Murray is more interesting than Nadal and Federer. Roddick and Agassi managed to be somewhat interesting in interviews. I think these young guys are coached to go through the motions during interviews....they know that some guys are going to try to bait them and they know the routine...they have to give these interviews...they don't want to but they can't be fined if they give robotic answers until everybody gets bored and says, "Thanks, good luck, bye".

Gulbis should achieve some shit in tennis term so we can see how it should be done with respect to entertaining. Because after a lose only Roddick really entertained me in on and off the count with his press conferences. Tell Gulbis to be a factor and maybe well listen but right now i don't pay attention to guys losing in the second round of a slam.
