You know, we see a lot of trolls around here touting Graf and her slam record. People that are not even tennis fans know that Seles was stabbed to advance Graf.
That was Gunter's(the stabber)motive. Seles was working on Graf...
After Seles out of the way, Graf went on to reclaim the #1 spot and win 8 or 9 more slams.
An astriek will always be on Graf's record..
To give you idea of how much an affect it has when one's strongest rival is removed, how many titles would Maria Sharapova have if it wasn't for Serena Williams?
