For collegiate table tennis players seeking intercollegiate competition,
there is a great opportunity. The League of Northeastern Intercollegiate
Table Tennis (LNITT) is an organization of 15 (and growing) schools
dedicated to competing on the intercollegiate level. Currently we are
divided into divisions, Northern and Southern. The Northern Division
includes Boston University, Brown University, Dartmouth College, Harvard
University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Wellesley. The
Southern Division includes ,Cooper Union Cornell, Columbia,Hofstra, Nassau
Community College. NYU, Princeton University, RPI and Yale University.
The league has been active and grown for several years. Last year was an
especially successful season. Every school played every other school in its
division twice and divison winners met in a final showdown at the
conclusion of the season.
When all was said and done, more than 300 individual matches had been
played under LNITT auspices.
The League is growing and is always looking for new members. If your
school is in New York, New Hampshire, Massachussetts, New Jersey,
Connecticut, Pennsylvania or anywhere close, contact us and join!
