Valley Breeze 18 and under gold won five games on Sunday at the
Jersey Field in Santa Fe Springs to win the Batbuster
Tournament. Congratulations to all the girls on Valley Breeze it
was especially nice to see them work so well together. Half the
team is new with the Breeze this year and only in their second
tournament since all five of last years seniors have gone on to
Colleges across the country to play ball. One special treat was
Becky Bowen who had 12 hits over the weekend and finally became
the player she wanted to be. Becky's hard work has finally paid
off in spades.
