Not starting Santos? Already showing signs of fear.

I am a bit surprised he chose Lloris to start? dont think I have ever
seen Naughton play?
Not only is playing Huddlestone a sign of fear, he also has to be one of
the least talented players in football.
I guess playing Defoe and the oaf up front meant that he could not play
Dempsey. Nice sub to have though.

I expect Spurs to take an early lead, should be 5-0 after the first 10
minutes.

The good news is, hopefully, Adebayor will be relegated back to the
bench after this?

Gallas is not what he used to be, looks physically weak/slow, could have
stopped both goals back in the ole days.

Bale went away from Sagna as much as possible, but to even things up, Wenger
took a man off and Arsenal played with 10 men the moment Ramsey came on...

5-2, good win, defending must improve!!!

I wont go so far as say the season is over yet. But this team is not
good enough and i dont like who the Cyborg is playing. I was all for
getting a lot of money for Modric, it was good business, getting rid of
Van der vaart was bad business and signing Adebayor was the worst bit of
business- and i am not just saying that because of yesterday.

But lets do the analysis and player rankings

Szczesny - Not a great game but not much to do after the first goal.

Sagna was his usual self, runs hard and fast up and down the wings,
decent defensively.

Mertesacker I am not sure if Per is supposed to be the guy
controlling the back four? It seems they dont really play like that
anymore? Back in my day the sweeper or whoever was the last man back,
was the boss and if he yelled at you to move forward, all the players
moved forward. For the first goal, Per was moving forward to play an
offside trap, meanwhile the other players were either running the other
way or not moving, which left Defoe onside and alone to get the shot
that led to the first goal.

He made up for it with a super header to score Arsenal's first and after
Adebayor was sent off and Arsenal were in control, he was fine.

Koscielny Both he and Per seemed to be playing in advanced roles for
central defenders? I really am not convinced about this guy as a defender.

Vermaelen He was fine on the wing, he probably would be better in the
middle

Arteta The most creative Arsenal player had a quiet yet effective game.

Wilshere Outside of some bad crosses and passes, I did not see too
much from him

Walcott He runs a lot and does get involved, but he is not as good
as he, or the English press, think he is.

Santi Cazorla He played better then what I have seen from him, he
still seems a clumsy, head down, direct player. His shooting is OK, but
not a particularly smart player.

Podolski Hard working game, he seemed to be defending as much as
attacking.

Giroud Good in the air, seems a good player?

Trainer: Wenger

Lloris I dont recall him making too many mistakes, even though he let in
5 goals?

Walker Not a good game, then again who did have a good game for Spurs?

Gallas I was surprised how poorly he played. He looked slow, he looked
weak, like he was injured maybe?

Vertonghen The best of the Spurs defenders, for whatever that is worth?

Naughton Not blaming him, but he really is not good enough.

Lennon Sort of that typical headless chicken type player, that seems
to be so prevalent in the EPL. Like Walcott or Defoe or Shaun Wright
Philips, or St Carzola or Steve McManamann. They just put their heads
down and aim for the by line or goal. I really do not like to have
those types of players on my team.

Sandro He certainly wanted to make his presence felt at the start of
the game. I think he had fouled every Arsenal player within the first
10 minutes?

Huddlestone Horrible player, just not good enough. He should spend some
time playing indoor football with a bunch of 45 year olds and learn the
basics.

Bale He cant do it all himself.

Defoe I kid about Defoe being the best striker in the league. The truth
of the matter is, he is just another Walcott, with less skill.

Adebayor An oaf

Trainer: Villas-Boas

able to get Moutinho has destroyed their season?

You've been consistent with your criticism of Adebayor's signing, he's not
close to how he played last year!!!

> But lets do the analysis and player rankings
>

No chance with either goal IMO, brilliant save on Defoe's shot, no chance
with the rebound which unfortunately fell to the feet of the oaf... wasted a
lot of time in second half, in play!!!

> Sagna was his usual self, runs hard and fast up and down the wings, decent

Had a good game, he's generally the reason why players switch flanks,
solid...

Don't think Per should even be starting against the better sides, but
Wenger's arm was forced, and to be honest he's been fine this season, but
very, very slow, almost flat footed all the time, Arsenal don't play
offside, nor a high line this season, so I don't know why Mertesacker tries
to play offsides, it has cost us a few goals of late, but we are letting in
goals at an alarming speed recently... he played ok, very calm on the
ball!!!

> He made up for it with a super header to score Arsenal's first and after

His bad form seems to be going away, the reason why I like him, is he has
speed, can make a mistake then fix his own error by recovering, when he hits
top form, he'll be our best defender once again... for me man of the match
in this game, he played centrally and covered Vermaelen on countless
occasions, didn't make a mistake, fine performance!!!

> Vermaelen He was fine on the wing, he probably would be better in the
> middle

Need Gibbs back, but Vermaelen can't be blamed for anything, he was ok...

> Arteta The most creative Arsenal player had a quiet yet effective game.

For the position he played and has for the season, being invisible is the
best!!!

> Wilshere Outside of some bad crosses and passes, I did not see too much
> from him

Tried too much, still getting back to fitness, does bring a winning
mentality though, which the team needs!!!

> Walcott He runs a lot and does get involved, but he is not as good as
> he, or the English press, think he is.

I disagree and really mean this, he's never been better, probably from the
low standards he set over the years, he's controlling the ball better, has
almost as many goals as RVP and rarely starts, so he's become very clinical
in front of goal, better crossing, better runs, better dribbling, USING
SKILL (Touch wood) and has a never before seen confidence about himself,
almost a strut... and I think he's finally coming through, but he still has
his weak points, I don't think we can afford to lose him...

> Santi Cazorla He played better then what I have seen from him, he
> still seems a clumsy, head down, direct player. His shooting is OK, but
> not a particularly smart player.

He's the best we've got, I think any criticism of him is harsh, particularly
as he generally does it all himself...

> Podolski Hard working game, he seemed to be defending as much as
> attacking.

Done well considering recent form, cant dribble around someone to save his
life and too slow for a player of his position, but very, very clinical
despite the deflection... still getting used tot he team!!!

> Giroud Good in the air, seems a good player?

His goals are coming along, good link up, but really slow, put a through
ball and he'll almost never get to it...

> Trainer: Wenger

Not ruthless enough, but did well to set a crossing game, it seemed all out
goals came from crosses!!!

Ramsey Arsenal were a man down when he came on, the worst part about Ramsey
in the last calendar year is he's playing with confidence, lacks quality an
continually breaks down promising attacks
Oxlade Chamberlain Set up Walcott's goal. has pace, lost the ball a few
times, but can never blame the winger for trying to create and dribble
Andre Santos The further away he is from our goal the better, played a nice
pass...

> Lloris I dont recall him making too many mistakes, even though he let in 5
> goals?

He played well, I get the feeling a top notch keeper went to the wrong
club...

> Walker Not a good game, then again who did have a good game for Spurs?

Walker's been like that the entire season though, might be in a slump?

> Gallas I was surprised how poorly he played. He looked slow, he looked
> weak, like he was injured maybe?

Wonderfully jeered and it affected him, well done AFC fans!!!

> Vertonghen The best of the Spurs defenders, for whatever that is worth?

He couldn't run come the 80th minute, good game!!!

> Naughton Not blaming him, but he really is not good enough.

Could have been sent off with a number of fouls he committed...

> Lennon Sort of that typical headless chicken type player, that seems to

> or St Carzola or Steve McManamann. They just put their heads down and aim

The best thing happened, you know how Lennon draws fouls usually, gets the
slightest tip and falls over, and the defender usually goes irate at it's
softness, well when Defoe went ballistic, it made my day!!!

> Sandro He certainly wanted to make his presence felt at the start of
> the game. I think he had fouled every Arsenal player within the first 10

Should also have been sent off for lots of fouls... poor play!!!

> Huddlestone Horrible player, just not good enough. He should spend some

LOL, he's got a Le Tissier type shot on him though, his corners were very
bad...

> Bale He cant do it all himself.

Nice goal, and three or four good runs, he's not a Spurs type player, he
must leave, always a threat...

> Defoe I kid about Defoe being the best striker in the league. The truth
> of the matter is, he is just another Walcott, with less skill.

He's not that bad, I think playing the lone striker made for a bad
performance... not his fault...

> Adebayor An oaf

Nearly stuffed up on his goal, then made a horror challenge, poor...

> Trainer: Villas-Boas

Cant have done much, but to think Spurs would have gone on and won 5-0 if
they had 11 players is a sign the manager knows nothing about this
fixture!!!

He was supposed to plug that Modric-shaped
hole in midfield, something that Dempsey is
not entirely suited to do. The deal fell through
literally in the last minute of the transfer season.

Mr. Lily White should know the details.
