In one of the key matchups of the day:
24' Bosnia - Turkey 0-1
Other key matches are about to start:
Hungary - Portugal
Serbia - France
Italy - Bulgaria
England - Croatia
28' Bosnia- Turkey 1-1
Go Bosnia!
10' Hungary-Portugal 0-1
Pepe, with a header.

Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere:
Czech Republic - San Marino 7-0
The czechs do their homework and get much needed 3 points and a GD
cushion. They are in third place right now, pending the Slovenia -
Poland result (Slovenia just scored, BTW, 13').
Belarus - Ukraine 0-0
Ukraine drops 2 precious points, and England will be qualified if they
win today. If England win, however, Ukraine's chances of reaching the
playoffs still look good.

Serbia - France
8mn in the game, red card for Lloris + penalty for what looks a lot like a
dive.
11' Serbia 1-0 France
Milijas with the penalty kick
Gignac out for Mandanda.
Looks good for Domenech.
Lampard penalty
Gerrard header off of Lennon cross
Barry's playing too, which of Gerrard or Lampard is on the left?
Serbia You Beauty!!!!!
Bulgatia denied a goal in Italy despite the ball crossing the line!!!!
Goal France!!!! Henry!
Absolutely superb!!!!
39' Still 1-1.
Game is fairly even right now, and France are handling it well with 10
men. Serbia still with an edge, which is natural.
On a slightly related note, I just saw the Faroe Islands beat
Lithuania 2-1 earlier today! Is this a first time ever?

Wasn't it offside? If it wasn't, great goal. But typical for
Bulgaria's opponents to find their form against us.
Should have been 2-2, though. I think that goal was in. And the
bloody !@#$%^&! Rangelow should have scored. What more does he want -
alone in front of the keeper. Hopefully he'll be replaced the second half.

It's their 17th official win, according to the french commentators of Serbia
France.
IIRC, their first BIG win came against Austria at least a decade ago.
Thanks. I made a quick search and, unless I missed something, this is
their 5th win at the WC qualifiers. They won other 3 times at the Euro
qualifiers (again, if my quick count was correct). I suppose the other
wins were friendlies.

It was in!!!
Thanks. After I searched, I actually remembered most of those results,
including the Austria game you mentioned.

71' SLO-POL 3-0 (!)
74' NIR-SVK 0-2
Slovenia's win means Slovakia is not there yet, but it should be a
formality.

FT: 1-1
Very good result for Bosnia, who should now have second place sealed up.
Group 1:
Malta - Sweden 0-1
Albania - Denmark 1-1
Hungary - Portugal 0-1
Great night for Portugal, who get their much needed win in Hungary, while
Denmark slip up in Albania.
Standings:
Denmark 18
Sweden 15
Portugal 13
Hungary 13
Sweden may end up paying dearly for not getting more goals past Malta.
More on the other groups to follow.

They should have a very good team, I think. Most of the attacking
studs not named Ribery in the Bundesliga seem to be Bosnian.
The playoffs are gonne be interesting.
84'
Spain - Estonia 2-0
Spain close the deal and are qualified to South Africa. Congrats!

FT 1-1
France was the better team during the second half even though Serbia had a
couple of chances.
Overall a very good game for France considering the circumstances. Domenech
is safe at least until the playoffs.. (unless we fail to clinch the second
place, which would mean home losses to Austria and the Faroe)
> 84'
> Spain - Estonia 2-0
With a goal by Santi Cazorla, yay!
D
France managed to pressure Serbia despite being a man short from the
10th minute. Quite a good effort tonight.

The home match against Austria will be meaningless, unless Serbia
loses at home to Romania, of course! =)

And one by Mata. I think Fantasy Scout rules should be changed so that
older players (> 22) who get nearly all their caps as subs get penalized
somehow ! ENough of this Guiza/Cazorla nonsense.
Ozil played the last two games and scored in the friendly. Khedira got a
cap in the friendly as did Tasci, and Beck came on as a sub today (and
changed the game around, along with Klose, also a second half (46th
minute) sub. )
Lloris got sent off. Hope there is no penalty for that.

I just got a vision, saw what's going to happen. Denmark will lose
home against Sweden 0 - 1, then they'll both win their remaining game,
Denmark wins the group, Sweden gets the playoff.
;-)

You have a point here. Of course, this train of thought can take us to
differentiate official and friendly matches, etc.

Your act is on its way!

No, there isn't. :)
