Who is Norwich City?

I never heard of this team? Arre they good or are they one of those teams,
who get in the EC in one year, but afterwards you never hear anything of
it?
Maybe someone could send me some information.

ROFL!!! Norwich City is 100 miles due north of London, England. They have
never played in Europe before this season, although they qualified in 1986
while English teams were still banned from Europe. In the first round they
beat Vitesse Arnhem 3-0 at Carrow Road (very close to the world famous
Colmans mustard factory) then drew 0-0 away.
Up until last season Norwich was nobody, but a change in management seems
to have maximised their tiny resources - they came *that* close to winning
the Premier league last season, and are up there again at the moment.
They are our local rivals here at Ipswich, who you will remember from the
60's to the early 80's in Europe.

Must be an expensive habit. Transcontinental airfares every week don't come
cheap!

Norwich played Bayern Munich in an exhibition match last year sometime.
I don't remember exactally when, but Norwich won 3-1 or 4-1. It wasn't
much of a game.
Or, to answer your question a bit differently, Norwich is the outside
hopefuls for the '94 Premier League. Maybe.
