The hex is the perfect group, the 10 based system is so wrong for so
many reasons, the hex based system is perfect and like the hex based
system, this is the best qualifying group in the world

POS TEAM P W D L F A GD Pts
1 Costa Rica 4 2 1 1 5 3 2 7
2 United States 4 2 1 1 4 3 1 7
3 Mexico 5 1 4 0 3 2 1 7
4 Panama 4 1 3 0 5 3 2 6
5 Honduras 4 1 1 2 4 6 -2 4
6 Jamaica 5 0 2 3 2 6 -4 2

8:00 PM Mexico v Costa Rica

Mexico is doing really well defensively, but they are not scoring, 3
goals in 5 games from the "best team" in COCNCAF is not very good?
Then again, like it or not, defence wins cup ( unless you have a
really good attacking team like a 60s/70s era Brazil or 50s era
Hungary) so that is promising.

If Costa Rica get any result from this, the Mexicans better start
worrying. What they should be worrying about regardless, is that they
need some creativity in the midfield.

9:00 PM Honduras v Jamaica
These are probably the two teams that do not make it out of the HEX.

10:00 PM United States v Panama
USA are winning and winning ugly, but at least they are winning.
Klinsmann is using his tactics again, last time when he played Costa
Rica, he made sure it was a huge snow storm and that just stifled the
Costa Rica's. This time he is bringing in a new field to cover the
artificial surface in Seattle, to throw off the Panama's. Hopefully
the Seattle crowd will be as good as the MLS crowds?

Jermaine jones is out with concussion, which is a blessing in disguise
in my opinion. Altidore is kinda hot now.

Klinsmann along with his Yoga and meditation and what not, may
actually be instilling a winning attitude to his team?

I think he doing quite well considering his resources.

Surprising to me that Honduras is not doing better. They looked like a
better team than Panama in the previous round. Panama did not impress
me that much. Still, a win at home here and Honduras is right back in
the thick of things. All of Costa Rica, the US, Panama, Mexico and
Honduras should be able to qualify through the playoff. Even Jamaica
would have a decent chance.

Would make things very interesting if Panama won this game, or at least
got a draw.

Especially when only 9 teams participate in it!

What i meant is, that i hope the crowd that watches the USA game is as
large and boisterous as the crowds that come out for the Seattle MLS
games. I think they average around 40k?
