Pohang Steelers (KOR) 1-2 Estudiantes (La Plata-ARG)
[Denilson 71' - Leandro Benítez 45+2'(FK), 53']
Benítez's free kick flew over the box, Boselli tried to head
the ball but missed and the 'keeper watched it bounce into
the corner. Verón found Pérez with a through pass, he tried
to lob over Hwa Yong, but the ball was going wide. Benítez
knocked in off a defender's leg and the post. when the
Steelers were already down to ten men, Denílson received
from Jung in clear offside to score his third goal in the
competition. Other two Korean players got red cards for
silly fouls. The last of them was their 'keeper, which
Denílson had to replace - and did a good job at it.

Tomorrow: Atlante (Cancún-MEX) vs. FC Barcelona (ESP)

First gold by Estudiantes was clearly an upside. The umpire was
clearly a
bias. The calling red card for Pohand goal keeper was unnecessarily.
This umpire of this game was clearly a bias.
