JUVENTUS 1 (Grosso 52)
UDINESE 0

Attendance : 23,609
Assist : Camoranesi

LIVORNO 2 (Lucarelli 21, Pulzetti 93)
GENOA 1 (Criscito 63)

Italy new boy Antonio Candreva, who at just short of 6ft is a decent size
for a playmaker, ran through a Bocchetti tackle on the left flank and
pulled back a centre for Lucarelli to shoot first time past Amelia.
Criscito blasted in the equaliser after Livorno failed to clear a
Palladino centre. Pulzetti, who wrongly had a goal disallowed, headed in
last minute winner from Moro's superb cross. It was the first time this
season Livorno have scored more than one goal.

Candreva is on to Livorno from Udinese and seems a dead cert to make
Lippi's World Cup squad. He's good but he's not Cassano.

Attendance : 11,153
Assists : Candreva, n/a, Moro

MILAN 4 (Seedorf 5, Borriello 38, Pato 40, Ronaldinho 62 Pen)
CAGLIARI 3 (Matri 9, Lazzari 30, Nene 69)

Seedorf flicked a ball into the box, Borriello ran across goal to collect
the pass, drawing out Marchetti and two defenders, he centred as he
turned and Seedorf tapped into an empty net. Milan have been rock solid
in defence of late so if you're wondering how they conceded three in this
game the fact that Nesta was out and Kaladze was his replacement is the
answer. Kaladze ball watched a cross come into the box and Matri stepped
away from him to equalise. Kaladze was also at fault for the second. His
pathetic clearance gave possession back to Cagliari, Conti backheeled a
cross to Jeda who sent a ball over to the back post for an unmarked
Lazzari to blast Cagliari into a shock lead. Pato's bullet header forced
Marchetti into a brilliant save but Borriello pounced on the rebound to
equalise. Man of the match Borriello was also involved in the third. He
passed to Ronaldinho who, with his back to goal, hit a first time pass
between two defenders to Pato, he took one touch before blasting high
over Marchetti. Astori dived in with a late tackle as Borriello ran into
the box and the striker couldn't resist his invitation and clipped his
leg before going over. Once again Ronaldinho struck the ball with
tremendous power. Nene scored without five minutes of replacing Biondini.
The clown Kaladze's hand went up as he appealed for offside, despite
playing Nene on, and the Brazilian ran onto Jeda's through ball and beat
Dida.

Kaladze is utter and complete shit. Milan must bring in another centre
back in January.

Attendance : 39,821
Assists : Borriello, Lazzari, Jeda, n/a, Ronaldinho, Borriello (won pen),
Jeda

NAPOLI 0
LAZIO 0

Attendance : 50,000
Assists : n/a

PALERMO 1 (Migliaccio 4)
CATANIA 1 (Martinez 55)

Migliaccio headed in a Miccoli free kick. Martinez tapped in the
equaliser after Sirigu parried from Morimoto. Palermo were absolutely
rubbish in the second half.

Palermo fired Zenga after the match. Former Lazio coach Delio Rossi takes
over.

Attendance : 25,082
Assists : Miccoli (fk), n/a

ROMA 3 (Totti 6 Pen, Totti 14, Totti 28)
BARI 1 (Andreolli 73 og)

Vucinic, who has shaved his beard and now has a pornstar moustache and
looks like a slim David Arquette, robbed Ranocchia of possession, ran
into the box and threw himself over Gillet to win a penalty. Pizarro
touched forward a free kick and Totti hammered a right foot shot into the
bottom corner. He completed his hat-trick with another vicious first time
strike. The Bari defence failed to clear a centre, Totti ran in from the
left touchline and gave the ball an almighty whack, sending it curling
into the top left corner via a slight deflection. Bari created enough
chances to score three goals but only took one of them when Andreolli,
the latest star Ranieri is making, headed in a corner.

Attendance : 40,000
Assists : Vucinic (won pen), Pizarro (fk), n/a, n/a

SAMPDORIA 2 (Rossi 19, Pazzini 65)
CHIEVO 1 (Mantovani 80)

Sorrentino flapped at a corner, Poli kicked fresh air when attempting to
shoot but got a second bite, he chested down the ball and struck a half
volley which went in off Rossi. Luciano was sent off for hacking down
Padalino. Pazzini tapped in Samp's second after Padalino and Cassano
exchanged passes on the edge of the box. Mantovani did what the Italian
commentators called a 'Henry, when he used his hand to control a loose
ball in the box before scoring.

Attendance : 22,000
Red Card : Luciano 45 (Chievo)
Assists : Padalino, Cassano, n/a

SIENA 0
ATALANTA 2 (Tiribocchi 52, Acquafresca 68 Pen)

Ceravolo's corner hit Acquafresca in the back of the head, bounced
towards goal and Tiribocchi head past Pegolo. Ficagna pulled down
Acquafresca to concede a penalty which, despite terrible form, he was
allowed to take. It was his first goal of the season. Maccarone won Siena
a penalty but Paolucci blew it, Consigli made a great low save down to
his left.

Siena have announced Alberto Malesani will take over as their full time
coach.

Attendance : 10,000
Assists : Acquafresca, Acquafresca (won pen)

21 November 2009

BOLOGNA 1 (Zalayeta 23)
INTER 3 (Milito 22, Balotelli 42, Cambiasso 72)

Motta kept alive a corner and Milito lashed in from close range. Bologna
equalised within seconds. Adailton hit a tremendous longball over the top
of the Inter defence towards Zalayeta, he brought the ball under control
with a stunning first touch and as Julio Cesar ran off his line to make a
challenge he lobbed into an empty net. Balotelli headed Inter back in
front from a corner. Milito sent a fantastic pass between two defenders
for then onrushing Cambiasso to score a third. Maicon talked himself into
a needless red card which means he misses next week's match with
Fiorentina and could miss the game after, against Juventus. If recent
performances are anything to go by Inter won't need him.

Attendance : 32,067
Red Card : Maicon 91 (Inter)
Assists : Lucio, Adailton, Maicon (ck), Milito

FIORENTINA 2 (Gilardino 25, Gilardino 62)
PARMA 3 (Amoruso 30, Bojinov 52, Lanzafame 67)

Gilardino headed Fiorentina a goal up against the club which made him a
star. Dzemaili angled a ball through Fiorentina's defence, sending
Zaccardo clear of a poorly played offside trap and Amoruso tapped in his
centre. Bojinov, who had his most productive spell at Fiorentina playing
alongside Toni, broke from the wall to convert Galloppa's free kick.
Gilardino headed in the equaliser from a Vargas corner but Lanzafame
struck five minutes later. Panucci hit a pass out of defence Totti would
have been proud of, he drove through the ball with the top of his left
foot, similar to how free kicks are struck, Lanzafame controlled the
ball, ran into the box and as just as he was about to be tackled he
stretched to poke the ball wide of Frey. Donadel was sent off for going
in two footed on Morrone.

Fiorentina had better defend a lot better than this against Lyon.

Attendance : 16,000
Red Card : Donadel 86 (Fiorentina)
Assists : Santana (ck), Zaccardo, Galloppa (fk), Vargas (ck), Panucci

Assist was by Caceres. Incredibly enough, Juve's weakest links this season
(the two full backs) combined for the goal.

Virgin quarters have already started to lobby to have Maicon's suspension at
no more than one match. Juve has been pedestrian lately, but Maicon is the
single most decisive player in the whole of Serie A. Inter without Maicon
are worth 10 fewer points in the final standings.

Incredibly enough, you have one of the weakest links in Fantasy football
team!

It's great to watch Milan play entertaining football...again. I had lost
interest, but with Leonardo as coach it's fantastic.

I have alwasy liked Leonardo's philosofy on football, ala "Tele Santana".
The Brazilian influence really shows and makes a difference.

Milan are playing with 4 strikers + Pirlo who can't defend, so we receive
many gols, but always score more than the opposition.

Every game is a seesaw of gols!
