My FC Copenhagens worst buy? Easy. Brian Laudrup. First we give
up Bjarne Goldbaek, a great fighter and just the kind of stabile
presence needed on any midfield, and then we get Brian Laudrup,
who, less than 6 months into his tenure at the club, just can't
stand it anymore, because the Danish fans that cheered him on
the national team was now booing him *gasp* just because he was
playing for the opposing side! And for some reason, he has an
annulment clause in his contract. So that's tons of money thrown
out the window, along with a player we really, really needed,
that leaves without a dime going into the club again.
I'd also nominate our Faero Islandic attacker Todi Jonsson, but
he's been in the club for nearly 8 years now, and can't be termed
a "worst buy" simply because he's been consistently playing like
crap these last two years, and have scored all of 2 goals in that
time.

Werder Bremen - Probably Håvard Flo who did nothing for the club for 2
years (except earning $500,000 a year) and was unloaded to English
division one side Wolverhampton last season. I guess they thought
they were getting his cousin Tore André...
