This means he'll probably never play a full season with a European
club.
A few things:
-Before Everton came along, his most likely destination was Club
America.
-I'd still have preferred to see Donovan with a Spanish club, as he's
the one US field player who might have played better there.
-As he loves California so,l I wonder how he'll enjoy the Merseyside
winters.
-I'm guessing we'll never see him with a European club for an entire
season now, unless FIFA puts a stop to these strange off-season loans
once Milan stops wanting Beckham.
-I'm interested in seeing how Everton use him. Anyone have any ideas?
Thank god he's not going there.

Would have been interesting.

How does anyone like the weather in Liverpool?

I'm not sure. If he ever decides he really wants to go/stay in Europe
couldn't he basically demand that MLS grant him his wish or he won't
play? (With the league getting compensated of course.)

It will be interesting, but I think he might provide a useful change of
pace for them. They strike me as a fairly straightforward, physical
bunch offensively; even their creative players like Cahill and Fellaini
have an edge to them. He seems more of a finesse player than what they
normally trot out.
Well, given the injuries at Everton, he could play pretty much anywhere.
Haven't seen the latest news, but looked like Rodwell went down on the
weekend, and if I'm not mistaken, Cahill was limping toward the end.
I'm guessing he'll be out wide in midfield.
