Winning all three Cups

Only once, one country won all three European cups: in 1989/90, Italy
won the Champions' Cup through Milan, the Cup Winners' Cup through
Sampdoria, and the UEFA Cup through Juventus. Curiously enough, all
three were beaten in the 1990/91 Coppa Italia by one and the same
team, Roma.

Roma must have been the best team of 90/91

Which team has the most European Cup/CL Victories?

Real Madrid.

Italy and Spain, the two best countries in the history of European
Club Football.

Very closely followed by England with 10 winners and 4 runners up. BTW
England have the most individual clubs to have won the CL.....4
LIverpool' Man U; Forest and Villa.

Third place son. Like I said, Italy and Spain are the two best
countries in the history of club football, and Spain is still number
one in UEFA ranks.

PS, it doesn't bode well for you to be following around someone you
labelled as a madman. Are you stalking me now?

Spain won't be first for long. Italy's teams will win the next three
Champions League hands down. As much as I hate Inter Milan they are
unstoppable. The final will be Real Madrid and Inter with Inter
blowing them out. Next year AC Milan will win it and the year after
Juventus will take it.

Stalking ? Mate you are crying out for attention, and now you have it
you squeal like a baby.

Maybe 3rd place but there is precious little between the Italy, Spain
and England, and if the current trend continues then English teams
will very soon be top of the rankings. 3 out of last year's semi-
finalists and 4 individual winners, more than any other country. Eat
shit you clown.

Who's squeling?

> Maybe 3rd place but there is precious little between the Italy, Spain

There's 4 World Cups seperating Spain and Italy, and three seperating
Italy and England. There's also

>and if the current trend continues then English teams
> will very soon be top of the rankings.

But those teams are hardly English, unless of course your name is
Jallore or Higgs. Then they're completely English

>3 out of last year's semi-
> finalists and 4 individual winners, more than any other country.

So what!!

Italy had 3 of 4 semi-finalists (Juventus, Milan, Inter) in 2003 and
two finalists (Milan and Juventus) the same year. This is a feat that
only one other country matched, care to guess whom? Spain in
1999/2000; Real Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona with Madrid and
Valencia in the final! Name one time you guys even had two English
teams in the final? What's that? I can't hear you. Oh, it's the wind.

I admit though, Liverpool was quite successful in the 80's, but dammit
if they lost...their fans would go mad and murder other teams fans.
Brutal...see the Heysel tragedy. I suppose it's time for you and Higgs
to chime in and say I'm lying because I present a wiki article:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heysel_Stadium_disaster

First: nobody was losing the match when the confusion started.
Unfortunately some fans of Liverpool were already drunk and these guys
started a chain reaction that became what we alerady know. And all the
english clubs suffered a intense punishment because of this incident.

Second: Yes, it is true that in THIS VERY MOMENT clubs form Italy and
Spain are ahead of english clubs in the international club
competitions. But we have a short distance among these three
powerhouses and the only thing that earns from this situation is the
sport that we love so much. And that's football. Personally I don't
care if spanish clubs or english clubs are better. I want to know if
MY club is doing the things right! =)

Not only are an England hater you are also a liar. I have never
mentioned once about the ethnic make up of the present English clubs,
I have simply stated at present the EPL is looking to be the strongest
competition in Europe. You brought up the question of CL winners/
runners-up. England are a very close third to both Spain and Italy.
The stats back that up. You have now introduced the WC. Why when we
are discussing club teams ?

And now that you are losing the argument you bring up a disaster of
some 20 years ago in the shape of Heysel. That is a disgrace, why
would would you even bring up such a sensitive issue. I guess you also
blame the English fans for the Hillsborough and Bradford disaster do
you ? What a mad clown you are.

I haven't lied about anything, but you and Higgs think this is the
only way you can defeat me, by lying about me. There is also nothing
to hate, or be jealus of when it comes to English soccer. Disliking an
outdated style is one thing, but hating is another. You've sunk to a
new low level by trying to paint me a hater. Ad hominem arguments are
the lowest form. They are only used in defeat. You've been defeated.
How sad.

>I have never
> mentioned once about the ethnic make up of the present English clubs,

Who said you did? Can you read well?

> I have simply stated at present the EPL is looking to be the strongest

And I showed you how it is not. I also made reference to how the EPL
is based on foreigners, which is true. A point that Higgs has been
trying to confuse with other irrelevant arguments since that time.
Both of you know you've been defeated, so you resort to name calling.
How typical.

> And now that you are losing the argument you bring up a disaster of

> some 20 years ago in the shape of Heysel. ]

Losing what argument? How am I losing? Italy and Spain are the most
successful countries in European club competition. You can't deny
that, it's futile. Heysel happened did it not? What is your problem?

Yes. Quite possibly the biggest and most unfortunate act of
hooliganism ever.

I think that outside of the early 80's, it was the Spanish clubs that
dominated, and from 1990 on the Italians have had the majority of
wins.

Sure, whatever you say Jallore, because everything else you've said so
far is completely accurate :)

I have a 87,88,89 account. I had to make more than one because google

England also had the most complete dominance of the EC from 1977
through 1984:
Winners in six consecutive years 1977-1982 as well as 1984.

During those years, it's all English and nothing else. Everything an
English club touched turned gold. They won just by merely showing up.
Even a rookie like Villa went all the way to win the Cup by beating
the mighty Bayern Munich in 1982. That should speak volumes about the
fortune and divinity of the English clubs in late 70's and early
80's.

Actually evidence to the contrary. All that has been found out is how
obsessed you are with me now stalking me in a 6th thread about being
"found out". Tell me, what was there to find?

:))

I own you. You do know that right?

I get the feeling that you just can't help responding to me. Why is
that? Oh yes, you said so in another thread a few days
back...ownership...

Also, you still haven't explained what there was to find out?

I've spread nothing but the truth.

Truths I've spoken of:

1 - The EPL is more than 50% foreign, and the top 4 clubs are 78%
foreign content

2 - Italy and Spain are the two most successful nations in European
Club Football

3 - There actually was a ban on foreigners from 1966-1980 in the Serie
A despite all of Higgs
lame attempt to deny this. It is well documented. Some players
managed to slip through for
a variety of reasons.

4 - UEFA's coefficients have La Liga as the top league in Europe not
the EPL

5 - Historically the English have been critical of the Italian style
of play, citing it to be negative
and destructive. This is not just tabloid nonsense, unless you
want to confirm that the English
football commentators work for tabloids. There is constant
reference to this in games they
comment on when Italy play. The interesting thing is that now that
the English FA understand
that they have no one competent in their own home they go out and
hire an Italian coach that
epitomises all of those negative stereotypes, and although he does
not play catennacio he is
very defense orientated and will have England playing a style that
has been criticized as being
catennacio in the past (Capello's style of course). This is most
amusing. What is even more
amusing are that English fans who have undoutedly called Italy
negative, now have a coach
that will make them play "negatively" and they are embracing it.
Pure HYPOCRISY. :))
*note* It is impossible to feel hatred for Hypocrites, just
pity.

6 - In the first recorded International match between Scotland and
England it is also well
documented that the Scotts thoroughly confused the English with
their passing game. This
was a concept that the English did not understand at that time as
they believed that you take
the ball and run (they called it dribbling) with it as far as you
can go before losing it and some
other player taking over. Thus the Scotts taught the English a
very important lesson here.
*note #2* if I was an Anglo-Phobe like you or your muppet friend
Higgs earlier suggested,
would I be praising the Scotts for their brave display of football
historically? Indeed, I would
not, therefore your accusations have no grounds.

7 - You are obsessed with me as evidenced by your constant following
me around to every
thread simply to call me names, never putting forth any relevant
football content. Therefore
you are the mad man who cannot control yourself. I've had to
educate you now about a
dozen times on historical facts that well versed fan should be
knowledgable in.

I dare you to refute any of these claims that I have addressed.

Yes moron the EPL, it has taken over the football world in terms of
audience and money is recent years, now it ready to take over in terms
of results. The last few years of the CL are evidence to that, and
just watch the lesser UEFA Cup. Everton and Tottenham are going to
give it a real shake this year.

If Ronaldo is a fag then give me 10 more please, thank you very much.

Wow. It has more money and can buy more prime time television

Point, set, match. Thank you Mr. Referee and Linesmen, thank you ball
