With that international friendly taking place, Spain's fate at the
World Cup has been sealed. Once again, Spain will enter the World Cup
split. During the Euros, they went in together and with luck and the
fact that teams like Italy were not at their best Spain won. But now,
that friendly will be the main talking point in Spain when they crash
and burn again. What I find funny about that game is the Spain
football federation was powerless to stop it. Even though they made no
mention of stopping it deep down they wanted it to be a flop. Instead,
Catalonia not only beat a world football power they beat them with
authority.Now the Spainish team will go to WC with half the team not
wanting to be there under the Spanish flag and the other half
resenting the other.
