Germany moved up three places to second in the latest ratings,
following their 2-1 away European Championship qualifier win over
Czech Republic. France moved down one place to third, and Netherlands
down two to fifth. Spain moved back into the top ten, up three places
to eighth, while England continued their slide, down another two
places to ninth. The biggest gains over the last four weeks were made
by Kazakhstan (up 25 places to 115th), CEMAC Cup champions Congo (up
18 to 95th), and Bosnia-Herzegovina (up 16 to 57th). The biggest falls
were by Uzbekistan (down 10 places to 86th) and a number of teams that
lost nine places including Serbia (65th), Jamaica (69th), Gabon
(106th), and Libya (107th). Brazil remain on top of the ratings.
