We won't gut them like fish this time. Bordeaux get a deserved free pass
into the QFs.

Barcelona. Not that I'm qualified to say much about Stuttgart.
> Olympiakos vs Bordeaux
Bordeaux. If the Greeks couldn't even dominate a largely reserve
Arsenal side at home when advance wasn't yet assured, they'll have
their hands full against one of the hottest clubs in the world.
> Inter vs Chelsea
X will know how to beat Y arguments are out the window as Mourinho
coaches against former club and Ancelotti coaches against well-known
former rival. Chelsea, I s'pose, especially if they add some depth
this winter.

BM, though I don't know enough about Fiorentina.

Sevilla. I wonder if Juande Ramos will watch this on TV.
> Lyon vs Real Madrid
RM, though I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them concede a couple
of goals at Stade Gerland to make this a hairy one for them.
> Porto vs Arsenal
Arsenal, though they'll have to resort to catenaccio to do so. If this
is the Porto of last year, it could be scary for them.

:-) I guess I'd have to agree.

Fiorentina are the strongest Italian side. This is probably the most
even match-up.

Depends on Arshavin. I'm not sold on Arshavin. Hulk looks the part
(physically) but he's a slightly better version of Heskey.
That should read :
Depends on Arshavin. I'm not sold on Hulk. He looks the part
Barca, easy.
> Olympiakos vs Bordeaux
Bordeaux, easy.
> Inter vs Chelsea
Colossol tie, for obvious reasons:
1) Mourinho vs. Chelsea
2) Eto'o/Balotelli vs. Terry/Carvalho
3) Ancelotti vs. Inter
4) Possibility of Mourinho winning and then pretending that his heart
is broken, followed shortly by telling everyone what great a coach he
is.
> Bayern Munich vs Fiorentina
Fiorentina, unless Bayern can sustain form from their last UCL match.
> CSKA Moscow vs Sevilla
Sevilla, the dark horse of the UCL.
> Lyon vs Real Madrid
Great tie. Good chance of an upset.
> Porto vs Arsenal
Arsenal, I guess.
> Milan vs Manchester United
Another great tie. Milan could spring a surprise.
I predict Stuttgart

One of them disappears, good! Bayern got about the best of the draw
imaginable. Fiorentina are an equal, not a better, and we've done
better against them in the past than against teams like Sevilla.

Why is it a Rubbish draw ?
There are some interesting matchups, and a good chance of your hated Man
United and Real Madrid going home early.
I would like to see Bordeaux do well. As you say, they deserve it.

Even after Barcelona made them look decidedly second class? You have
more confidence in them than I do. Perhaps the chips will fall
Mourinho's way again as they did in 04 when Porto were totally
outclassed by Real in the group stages to then go on and win it, who
knows?
I thought something was suspicious...
Well...it hasn't been Inter's year for decades, so with each passing year,
the odds are in Inter's favour;)
true that

: I'm afraid you're in for a huge disappointment.
It depends on how these teams keep their form after the Winter break, and
that's totally unpredictable. I think the tie is wide open.

Not a rubbish draw for neutrals. One evil team gets eliminated for sure !
