Almost through. Took it out for a test drive. It's very difficult
to control without a roll bar (a thing/stopper that keeps the
wheel from running too far forwards). So I stuck that on today.
Will finish that part tomorrow. Also need to make a real
throttle/speed controller. No doubt I looked silly trying to
control the device without those things. Anyway... Not enough
information to tell whether it's better than an electric version
with a decent/expensive lithium battery. However, since I have
experience with a cheap electric version (see the picture), I know
that the concept does work well and that it can be lots of fun.
Can't wait to finish it and do some real testing. It's heavier, at
8.5 pounds.

Instead of a roll bar, that one uses a leg hook. It worked fine,
but it puts lots of pressure on the gears and engine. Also
possible is to use both, the hook and the stopper (the stopper is
not installed on that version). It's also the difference between
using the GoTail (changing its name from "Motail") on the side, or
between the legs.
