My most recent push stick ("Motail" "GoTail").
It weighs 9.2 pounds with gas. It's more compact, shorter. Using
Echo's entry level grass trimmer, 21cc. It seems to get me up hills
OK. Could be faster, will see. Might put a shoulder carrying strap on
it. Still plenty of work to do.
Other inline skating push sticks are heavy. They use weight to keep
the wheel against the ground. Mine use leverage. As the wheel pushes
forward, counterpressure pushes the wheel down and into the ground,
causing it to grip the pavement. Making it lightweight allows it to
be carried in hand when not in use.
Electric would be great, but probably not until at least the next
generation of battery technology.
