The Overseas collection, now in its 11th illustrious year, has grown
in popularity since its inception due to its impressive, dynamic look,
harmonious lines and technical and aesthetic purity. This new dial

Collection, a tribute to the travel spirit and global pioneering
mindset of the brands founders, Jean-Marc Vacheron and Francois
Constantin, is legendary.<BR><BR>The Overseas Chronograph has a self-
winding, mechanical movement, beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour,
it is, as always, precisely hand-finished, an emblem of all Vacheron
Constantin movements. It has chronograph functions of hours, minutes
and seconds at six, and two totalizers, to 30 minutes and 12 hours, at
3 and 9 respectively, along with a sapphire glass anti-reflective
coating on one side. The watch is built to withstand pressures
equivalent to 500 feet under water. The rose gold case's screw-locked
crown and pushpieces, ensure sturdy protection from outside
dangers.<BR><BR>Anti-magnetic shielded movement up to 25,000 A/m. <br>
Vacheron traces its history back to 1755 when Jean-Marc Vacheron
established his watchmaking firm in Geneva. Francois Constantin joined
in 1819 creating Vacheron & Constantin. In 1974, Vacheron & Constantin
officially dropped the ampersand from the company name, although its
wristwatches had already engraved with the newer title since the
1950s. Among its multitude of watchmaking firsts, Vacheron Constantin
invented the winding crown. Today, Vacheron Constantin manufactures
superb complications and exquisite wristwatches coveted by even the
most discerning collector.
