Who is Chuckie and Procyon Broadcasting?
Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen, for budging in. I came back to this newsgroup for the first time in maybe 8 years or so, looking for a discussion of the dancing competition in Skate America. I found none. In fact, I found no discussion of any figure skating at all. Instead, I found this mentally insane gentleman, called Chuckie, posting his... more »

New security measures
Effective immmediately, Procyon Broadcasting has implemented new security measures for the restricted feeds (used during figure skating broadcasts) to protect the streams. A proxy detector has been added which will detect any open proxy or open relay. So to dgs and his mates, if they are getting past the... more »

Another correction needed at ProcyonBroadcasting.com
I think you got the two Ryan Lysaceks confused again. Eyan Lysacek from St. Kitts won the Cup of Chuckie event in Havana. Evan Lysacek from the USA won Skate America. (They can't possibly be the same person, as you insist that there is a Even Lysacek from St. Kitts, and the ISU, the announcer at Skate... more »

You Might Be A Chuckie #2
If you think anybody from Cuba competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, much less won the women's gymnastics all-around gold medal, you might be a Chuckie.

You Might Be A Chuckie #1
In commemoration of the sale of Alpha Crucis Radio by "Chuckie" to the new mysterious, nameless, owners of Procyon Broadcasting, who, somehow, share the exact political positions and geographic mistakes that Chuckie of did, I am going to start a new series here called, "You Might Be A Chuckie," to help the new owners keep from making the... more »

When is Procyon Broadcasting broadcasting its Skate America coverage?
I can't find the Skate America coverage schedule for Procyon Broadcasting. What hours (and please specify the time zone) will each event be broadcast? Here's the Universal Sports broadcast schedule (all times Eastern (USA)): Friday 7:30 PM - Pairs Free Skate 9:00 PM - Men's Short Program (live?) Saturday... more »

ISU's correct entries list for Skate America
Apparently, some websites have received incorrect information concerning the entries and countries represented for Skate America. Here are the lists as posted by the ISU (although I have listed, the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean skaters' family names first): Ladies ([link])... more »

Pardon me for asking a stupid question...
...but if Procyon Broadcasting is new, why does its forum's administrator account have a "joined" date of August 31, 2007? -- Don

Attention DGS: don't read this...
...or you may discover the new home of Phony Pfuhrer Radio (formerly known as Radio Chuckiestan): [link] And somebody is up to his old tricks: according to the site, Ashley Wagner of "Violet Town, Victoria" is ahead after the short program at NHK Trophy, and if she wins, she will be the "first Australian lady to... more »
