I had flashbacks to Aus in the UK in 1978 ? where they lost Tests because
their goal kicking let them down.
Two funny comments made during the game, Australia's scrum must now be
considered one of the best in the world ( Aus promptly penalized for
collapsing the scrum ) and if grow a moustache you must learn how to catch
the ball ( which was either an inane comment or a in Scottish joke ).
Anyhow apart from the result I quite enjoyed the match, technically not the
best but close and competitive.

As I said well done Scotland, Aus goal kicking let them down ( you do
remember the missed conversion attempt that would have won Aus the game from

I don't understand the "of course". Australia were ahead on territory
and possession. Giteau's misses didn't help, but I thought the decisive
moment was Cooper's forward pass to Mitchell and the subsequent
disallowed try. To be fair, Mitchell was calling for the ball, but if it
had gone down the line, Aus would have scored. If Ioane had been
playing, maybe Cooper would have passed to him.
