My Tips....

Karl aka Stomper

-------------------------

Stomper, you fucked up today tipping Wales to lose and you've gone and done
it again for next weekend. Are you deliberately trying to lose?

PS Samoa will do one on Italy, Scotland will lose to the Argies, SA will
stuff Ireland and NZ will get their revenge on the Frogs.

Aussies will bounce back after the disappointment of Scotland - Wales
are so ordinary that Australia will win it even with Quade Cooper in

Samoa look inept and totally out of their depth - Craig Gower for the
Italians will rip the Samoans a new one
Scotland WILL lose to the Argentinians - they have played their game
this year in beating the Aussies
Sth Africa haven't won at home to Ireland since 19th November 2000 -
the last two encounters have been won by the Irish. Sth Africa are
having a woeful tour - I expect this to continue
France at home are always difficult to beat - New Zealand are not
looking at their best - I expect the referee will determine this
one....

Right, expect me to come back in a week's time and take the piss when Wales
win, of course if we lose, I'll avoid the newsgroup for a couple of weeks
until everyone has forgotten about it.

Of course Wales will win, the Wallabies are starting to imitate those great
Australian
sides of the early 70's. A four-match multi returning a $1.50 and who fucked
up for me ?

We also beat the Argies over there in June remember. That's two games! As I
said yesterday, the corner has been turned and the promise of the last year
(for those who actually watch them rather than checking out the result) is
coming to fruition. Expecting to beat Scotland because you always beat
Scotland is a bit silly. New coach, new captain, new caps, good performances
and lofty league positions by the club sides all add up. Am I the only one
who is not shocked?

Another example of this. I'm not saying the Saffers are going to win, I
dunno, the Boks seem a bit out of kilter, but what has the last nine years
got to do with it? Saying SA won't win because they never win over there is
ridiculous.

Really, it's no wonder the Aussies are shocked at losing to Scotland. Maybe
the coaching team should have done a bit of homework rather than just turn
up and expect to win because they always do. The fans should try it as well.
It'll save a bit of heartache in the future.

Hey, I'd rather we lost to the Scots than to England or Wales.

Would be great to see a Scottish resurgence. I remember the great side
of the 80's with the Hastings brothers, Calder, Sole, Irvine and
Jeffrey.
